#26 Here Korea Life

in GEMS4 years ago (edited)

Hello All

Continuing the last story 📃

Arriving near the park,

Started to think where to go exactly. We both are almost always random pickers so to make less tiring trip, we had to decide to our direction. Luckily the trolley bus stop was quite close to the Taehwa river observatory, which we have never been to. Went up to see the view of the riverside. Back to our dating life, we have been many places and our almost first dating-dating was mostly happened in this park, Taehwa river park. Also we have many memories here, too. Guess because it is easy to walk from the old town and also the nice walking trail leads to the main park, which is now officially designated Taehwagang National Garden in Korea.

Taehwagang Observatory

Had a chance to capture the nice sky after a big storm day.
Pretty clear and loved the clouds to show up very clearly.

From the observatory, a lucky capture of the whole view

Crossing the bridge to the other side of the river

The storm made the river dirty but clear sky.
Usually like looking up the sky,
but the most special thing for me is the sky after ☔️☔️☔️ big rainy days☔️☔️☔️.

After crossing, walked into the bamboo forest, which is the main part of this Taehwagang National Garden. Between the two bridges in the middle of the river, there is extensive bamboo field which had been created by some villagers in hopes of protecting themselves from the frequent flooding during the Japanese colonial period. Also there are more parts of the park, like some statue displays, picnic places, and mini-eco centre. Every season, they used to plant different kinds of seasonal flowers to show, which make people able to have more good memories in each season. As I told I had good memories here.

One June, fun date with him. Absolutely VERY LONG AGO

In June, sunflowers are popular here.
There used to be a huge field of them.🌞

2019 July, the 1st visit of Mum from South Africa

June to July, here crazy rainy days start.
On one of the lucky days, we all could have hot walk in the bamboo forest.🍃

Other views in the park

With many good memories, even maybe I still have to dig some of my photos to see more, finished walk and could make to the closest bus stop for the bus. PHEW! Had to run a bit because we were not sure where the stop is exactly, but made it anyway. It was another good trip for us. Maybe have to do more before the number 3 is coming to join us.
