¿Qué disfrutas más a la hora de crear las publicaciones?
Siempre me ha llamado la atención el proceso que va desde la nada hasta la concreción de un texto escrito. Es un bello proceso creativo que a la vez significa un gran reto. No siempre se da de forma fácil porque a veces cuesta encontrar el tema y pareciera que las palabras se esconden, se resisten a dejarse atrapar. Sin embargo, una vez que se pone la primera letra y todo comienza a andar es muy emocionante ver como el texto va apareciendo en la pantalla del computador.
En general disfruto ese proceso creativo, sin embargo, me gustaría tener más tiempo para dejar enfriar las publicaciones. Suelo releer lo que he publicado y muchas veces siento que debí escribirlo de otro modo, arreglando algunos matices que se escapan cuando hay que publicar con premura.
¿Qué es lo más tedioso para ti a la hora de hacer una publicación?
Lo que me resulta más tedioso es el maquetado. Sería buenísimo tener alguien que lo hiciera por mí. Procuro sacar de mi archivo personal la mayoría de mis imágenes, ya esa parte consume bastante tiempo porque se trata de seleccionar entre varios archivos grandes. Luego viene el procesado en Photoshop, hacerles algún arreglo, redimensionarlas para bajarles el tamaño, todo eso toma su tiempo. En ocasiones busco directamente las imágenes en pixabay, allí están muy bien clasificadas. Otro asunto que me resulta fastidioso es el markdown, todavía se me enredan algunas combinaciones de comandos.
¿Cuántos post sueles armar por día?
Casi siempre hago un post al día, con eso es suficiente para mí. Siempre me han causado admiración las personas que tienen la capacidad de hacer varias publicaciones con apenas unas horas de diferencia. Meses atrás probé durante varios días hacer una publicación en la mañana y otra en la noche pero me pareció muy cansón, tengo algunos achaques que me limitan el tiempo que puedo pasar escribiendo en el computador.

What do you enjoy the most when creating publications?
I have always been attracted by the process that goes from nothing to the concretion of a written text. It is a beautiful creative process that at the same time means a great challenge. It is not always easy because sometimes it is hard to find the topic and it seems that the words are hiding, resisting to let themselves be trapped. However, once the first letter is written and everything starts to work, it is very exciting to see how the text appears on the computer screen.
In general I like that creative process, however, I would like to have more time to let the publications cool down. I usually reread what I have published and many times I feel that I should have written it differently, fixing some nuances that escape when I have to publish in a hurry.
What is the most tedious thing for you when it comes to publishing?
What I find most tedious is the layout. It would be great to have someone to do it for me. I try to get most of my images from my personal archive, and that part is quite time-consuming because it's a matter of selecting from several large files. Then comes the processing in Photoshop, doing some editing, resizing them to reduce their size, all of that takes time. Sometimes I look for images directly on pixabay, they are very well classified there. Another issue I find annoying is the markdown, I still get tangled up in some command combinations.
How many posts do you usually make per day?
I almost always do one post a day, that's enough for me. I've always admired people with the ability to make several posts within a few hours of each other. Months ago I tried for several days to do a post in the morning and another one in the evening but I found it very tiring, I have some ailments that limit the time I can spend writing on the computer.

Publico en varias comunidades y trato de mantener un día fijo para cada una. Sin embargo, esa rutina la altero cuando aparece algún concurso o una iniciativa como esta donde me invita un amigo; en esos casos altero mi agenda. También puede ser que ocurra algo imprevisto y me provoque escribir sobre eso.
Suelo escribir al comienzo de la tarde para terminar entre cinco y seis, y dejo toda la publicación maquetada, incluyendo portada e imágenes, la mando al correo por si acaso hay un fallo en el computador. Más de una vez me ha pasado que el computador no responde y he perdido el trabajo hecho. Como a las diez de la noche reviso de nuevo el escrito, a esa hora casi siempre hago alguna péqueña corrección. En la mañana del siguiente día, si hay electricidad e internet, subo la publicación.
¿Qué te inspira a la hora de crear tus propias iniciativas / dinámicas / tags?
Hasta ahora no he preparado ninguna iniciativa aunque varias veces he pensado en algunos temas, sobre todo relacionados con vida personal y literatura. En general me parece que las iniciativas son una gran idea, es una forma idónea para darnos a conocer en una comunidad tan grande como la de HIVE. De mi parte siempre procuro darles el reconocimiento a las personas creadoras de iniciativas, hacen un gran trabajo para acercar a los integrantes de la comunidad.

How do you plan your publishing schedule?
I publish in several communities and I try to keep a fixed day for each one. However, I alter that routine when a contest or an initiative like this one where a friend invites me appears; in those cases I alter my schedule. It may also happen that something unforeseen happens and provokes me to write about it.
I usually write at the beginning of the afternoon to finish between five and six o'clock, and I leave the whole publication laid out, including cover and images, I send it to the mail in case there is a computer failure. More than once it has happened to me that the computer does not respond and I have lost the work done. At about ten o'clock at night I check the writing again, at that time I almost always make some small correction. In the morning of the next day, if there is electricity and internet, I upload the publication.
What inspires you to create your own initiatives / dynamics / tags?
So far I haven't prepared any initiative although I have thought about some topics several times, mostly related to personal life and literature. In general I think the initiatives are a great idea, it's an ideal way to make ourselves known in a community as large as HIVE. For my part I always try to give recognition to the people who create initiatives, they do a great job to bring members of the community together.
