Saludos. Revisando el feed de los autores que sigo me encontré con esta estimulante publicación de la amiga @nathyortiz, allí responde a una iniciativa propuesta por @yolimarag donde nos invitan a comentar sobre algunos aspectos de nuestra faceta como escritores.
Para mí este tipo de iniciativas son de gran valor porque a la vez que nos permiten conocernos un poco más, nos sirven también para dejar caer algunos tips sobre la forma en que cada uno de nosotros aborda su actividad. Les comento…
1.-Al momento de escribir ¿En qué sueles inspirarte?
Eso depende del tema. Hoy, por ejemplo, el asunto resulta muy fácil pues se trata solo de responder a un cuestionario relacionado con una actividad que conozco. En este tipo de textos no hay problemas, no se necesita mayor inspiración. Sí, como siempre, tratar de cuidar la redacción para que sea fluida y el lector pueda captar fácilmente la idea que estoy expresando.
En otras oportunidades, cuando el tema del escrito no está basado en iniciativas o retos, generalmente encuentro la inspiración en varias fuentes. Puede ser de algún acontecimiento reciente, de alguna observación que haya hecho sobre un aspecto de la vida cotidiana, o de algún recuerdo que me haya llegado a la memoria. En los últimos tiempos he sentido la necesidad de dejar por escrito muchas de mis vivencias, ellas han sido la materia prima para alimentar unos cuantos relatos.
2.-¿Cómo haces para vencer el bloqueo del escritor?
Ese bloqueo lo confronto casi a diario, son pocas las veces en que prendo la compu y ya tengo alguna idea clara de lo que voy a escribir. Para superarlo hago algo muy sencillo, me quedo mirando la pantalla y pensando. Luego de algunos minutos escribo la primera palabra, con esa ya tengo por lo menos un inicio, lo demás se va desarrollando paso a paso. A una palabra sigue la siguiente y luego la otra, hasta que al final ya he escrito todo el texto. Soy de los que van revisando el texto a cada momento. Una vez terminado un párrafo lo releo varias veces y es cuando continúo con el siguiente.
3.-¿Consideras la escritura como un pasatiempo o como tu principal pasión?
Nunca he tenido la escritura como pasatiempo, siempre ha estado relacionada con alguna actividad de trabajo, digamos que hasta hace poco solo escribía por obligación. Ahorita me he propuesto como tarea escribir todos los días al menos unas quinientas palabras. No es algo que se me dé fácil, siempre me cuesta. Me instalo a escribir más por disciplina que por placer. En mi agenda diaria tengo fijada una hora límite para comenzar a escribir. Puedo pasar todo el día manguareando, sacándole el cuerpo al escrito, pero cuando son las tres y media o cuatro de la tarde dejo lo que sea y me pongo en acción. Sí estoy leyendo dejo de leer, si estoy con alguna tarea de la casa la suspendo, lo único que respeto es alguna visita. De lo contrario, al llegarme esa hora, prendo la compu y escribo la primera palabra.

For me this kind of initiatives are of great value because at the same time that they allow us to know each other a little more, they also help us to drop some tips about the way each one of us approaches our activity. Let me tell you...
1.-When you write, where do you get your inspiration from?
That depends on the subject. Today, for example, the subject is very easy because it is only about answering a questionnaire related to an activity I know. In this type of text there is no problem, no need for further inspiration. Yes, as always, try to take care of the wording so that it is fluid and the reader can easily grasp the idea I am expressing.
At other times, when the subject of the writing is not based on initiatives or challenges, I usually find inspiration in several sources. It may be from a recent event, an observation I have made about an aspect of daily life, or a memory that has come to mind. In recent times I have felt the need to write down many of my experiences; they have been the raw material to feed a few stories.
2- How do you overcome writer's block?
I face that block almost every day, there are few times when I turn on the computer and I already have a clear idea of what I'm going to write. To overcome it I do something very simple, I stare at the screen and think. After a few minutes I write the first word, with that I already have at least a start, the rest is developed step by step. One word is followed by the next and then the next, until at the end I have written the whole text. I am one of those who revise the text at every moment. Once I finish a paragraph I reread it several times and then I continue with the next one.
3. Do you consider writing as a hobby or as your main passion?
I have never had writing as a hobby, it has always been related to some work activity, let's say that until recently I only wrote out of obligation. Now I have set myself the task of writing at least five hundred words every day. It's not something that comes easily to me, it's always difficult. I settle down to write more for discipline than for pleasure. In my daily schedule I have a set time limit to start writing. I can spend the whole day humming, getting the body out of the writing, but when it's half past three or four in the afternoon I stop whatever it is and get into action. If I'm reading I stop reading, if I'm doing homework I suspend it, the only thing I respect is a visit. Otherwise, at that time I turn on the computer and write the first word.
4.-¿Qué es lo peor que has escrito?
Debo tener un gran dossier de textos malos. De vez en cuando me gusta leer algunos textos que he escrito en diferentes épocas para darme cuenta de cómo ha variado mi forma de escribir, algo que sin duda tuvo que ver con mi manera de sentir el mundo en cada momento. A veces me sorprendo de las palabras y del tono que he usado. No pudiera decir con precisión cuál ha sido mi peor texto, pero hay unos cuantos que gustoso los reescribiría y algunos hasta los borraría.
5.-¿Hive ha influenciado en tu proceso creativo?
HIVE ha sido decisivo en la evolución que he tenido como creador de contenido. Al ser la escritura el aspecto central de la mayoría de mis publicaciones, he sentido la necesidad de ponerle toda la atención a ver si la puedo mejorar. Pongo el mayor empeño en tratar de que mis escritos sean más efectivos, que puedan comunicar y conectar con el lector. De vez en cuando lo he logrado, esto lo digo por los comentarios que me dejan los amigos que gentilmente se toman el tiempo para leer las publicaciones.
He disfrutado mucho escribiendo esta publicación. Agradezco a las amigas @nathyortiz y @yolimarag por darnos a conocer este tipo de iniciativas donde nos conocemos un poco más. 4.-What is the worst thing you have written?
I must have a large dossier of bad texts. From time to time I like to read some texts I have written in different periods to realize how my way of writing has changed, something that undoubtedly had to do with my way of feeling the world at each moment. Sometimes I am surprised by the words and the tone I have used. I could not say precisely which has been my worst text, but there are a few that I would gladly rewrite and some I would even erase.
5.-Hive has influenced your creative process?
HIVE has been decisive in the evolution I've had as a content creator. Since writing is the central aspect of most of my publications, I have felt the need to give it my full attention to see if I can improve it. I put a lot of effort into trying to make my writing more effective, to communicate and connect with the reader. From time to time I have succeeded, this I can tell by the comments left by friends who kindly take the time to read the publications.
I have really enjoyed writing this post. I thank my friends @nathyortiz and @yolimarag for letting us know about this kind of initiatives where we get to know each other a little better. Amigo @irvinc yo dos tengo libretas, una en el cuaroy una en la cocina; cuando me llega una idea o me pasa alfo anoto, y despues me pongo a redactar. Caso contrario yo aesas horas no puedo hacer nada, tiene que ser temprano en la mañana o despues de las seis de la tarde.
