El tesoro de mi abuelo
Me asombra la biblioteca de mi abuelo. No entiendo por qué quería que lo heredara. Hubiera preferido en su testamento que me dejara el viejo coche verde de los noventa del siglo pasado. Al menos, puedo entretenerme restaurándolo para venderlo; y así obtener créditos para pagar a la corporación el alquiler del apartamento. ¡Úsalo! Imposible ante el altísimo impuesto sobre los combustibles fósiles.
En estos tiempos, nadie lee un libro físico. Ahora, en mi dispositivo multipropósito puedo escuchar cualquier libro del pasado ya digitalizado. Inclusive, oír las reseñas y críticas de los mismos, ahorrando un tiempo valioso para ver mis series favoritas.
Papá también tiene la manía de leer los obsoletos manojos de hojas amarillentas. ¡Entonces! ¿Por qué no se los heredó a él? De seguro, él lo disfrutará más que yo.
¡Bueno, que le voy a hacer! Tendré que catalogar cada libro para ponerlo a la venta y así obtener algunos créditos para poder pagar el alquiler del apartamento a la corporación. Claro, esa idea es una idiotez, ¿quien va a comprar artículos proscritos? Con eso de la lucha en contra del cambio climático, alguien podría adoptar hábitos tan nefastos y querer talar arboles para producirlos de nuevo.
¡Que curioso! Los libros están bien conservados y libre de polvo. Mi abuelo era muy metódico y cuidadoso con lo que él llamaba su tesoro más preciado. ¡Caramba, que casualidad! Este título es el mismo que terminé de escuchar ayer. Al parecer heredé el gusto de mi abuelo.
¡Interesante! Las notas manuscritas que veo en estas páginas son impactantes, pero de seguro debe de haber un error. No recuerdo una idea similar, al contrario, parece ser diametralmente opuesto. Tal vez, él malinterpretó el texto.
¡Algo está mal! Mi audio libro procede de la misma versión, pero difiere en el concepto de la verdad y en sus repercusiones. Esta perspectiva es más amplia y lógica, desvirtúa.
Ahora entiendo las arengas de mi sabio abuelo cuando me decía: no confíes ciegamente en los productos de la corporación, no siempre hacen justicia a la verdad, solo a sus intereses. Cuidate de la manipulación.
Creo que haré bien en quedarme con el tesoro de mi abuelo.

My grandfather's treasure
I am amazed at my grandfather's library. I don't understand why he wanted me to inherit it. He would have preferred in his will that he leave me the old green car from the nineties of the last century. At least, I can entertain myself by restoring it to sell it; and thus obtain credits to pay the corporation the rent of the apartment. Use it! Impossible in the face of the very high tax on fossil fuel.
These days, nobody reads a physical book. Now, on my multipurpose device, I can listen to any Book from the past already digitized. Even hear the reviews and critiques of them, saving valuable time to watch my favorite series.
Dad also has a habit of reading outdated bundles of yellowed pages. So! Why didn't he inherit them from him? For sure, he will enjoy it more than me.
Well, what am I going to do! I will have to catalog each book to put it up for sale and thus obtain some credits to be able to pay the rent of the apartment to the corporation. Of course, that idea is idiotic; who is going to buy prohibited items? With that of the fight against climate change, someone could adopt such dire habits and want to cut down trees to produce them again.
How curious! The books are well preserved and dust-free. My grandfather was very methodical and careful with what he called his most precious treasure. Wow, what a coincidence! This title is the same one that I finished listening to yesterday. I inherited my grandfather's taste.
Interesting! The handwritten notes I see on these pages are shocking, but surely there must be a mistake. I do not remember a similar idea. On the contrary, it seems to be diametrically opposite. Perhaps, he misinterpreted the text.
Something is wrong! My audiobook comes from the same version, but it differs in the concept of truth and its repercussions. This perspective is broader and more logical: it distorts.
Now I understand the advice of my wise grandfather when he told me: Do not blindly trust the products of the corporation. They do not always do justice to the truth, only to their interests. Beware of manipulation.
I think! I would do well to keep my grandfather's treasure.
