Today, I will share a recipe that is easy enough for you to make at home without the need to spend a lot of money. Shrimp and Corn in Padang sauce are quite popular in Indonesian restaurants, the price is quite varied if you eat this menu at a restaurant. Now you no longer need to go to a restaurant, because now you can make your own at home. Curious how to make prawns and corn in this Padang sauce? just look at the recipe below and good luck for those of you who want to make this food menu for your family and friends.

Well, the ingredients you have to prepare to make shrimp and corn in Padang sauce are to prepare 1 piece of corn, shrimp according to your wishes, chili sauce, tomato sauce, 1 sachet of oyster sauce, 1 sachet of beef broth, 1 sachet of pepper, lime leaves , onion, 1 tomato, onion, garlic, red chili, lemongrass, soup leaves, sugar, salt, 2 chicken eggs and the last one is ginger and turmeric. After you have prepared all the ingredients needed, now let's start the first stage of making shrimp and corn in Padang sauce.

The first stage, all you have to do is peel the garlic and onions, cut the ends of the red chilies, chop the soup leaves, cut the tomatoes into several parts, crush 2 lemongrass and the last one separates the middle bones of the lime leaves. After you have done everything like the photo above, now we go to the second stage.

The second stage, peel and clean the shrimp that you prepared earlier. Coincidentally, my friend gave me half a kilo of shrimp with a fairly large size. My friend has a shrimp pond which is quite large. After you have cleaned all the prawns, also clean the corn that you have prepared like the photo above. Now let's make the Padan sauce first.

The third stage, prepare a blender and put the tomatoes that have been cut into several parts, then add the red chili, onion, garlic, ginger and the last one is turmeric. Blend all the ingredients that I mentioned earlier until completely smooth, about 1 minute.

The fourth stage, after you have blended some of the ingredients I mentioned earlier until smooth, now all you have to do is prepare 1 pan, then pour enough cooking oil into the pan, then heat the cooking oil until it boils over medium heat.

The fifth stage, after you have heated the previous cooking oil until it boils, now pour all the ingredients that you have blended until smooth. Then stir the sauce until it boils and bubbles.

The sixth stage, which you have to do after the sauce boils and bubbles, pour in other spices such as beef broth to taste, pepper to taste, salt and sugar to taste. Then stir again the sauce until all the spices are evenly mixed.

The seventh stage, after you have stirred the sauce until all the spices you have put in are evenly distributed. Now what you have to add to the sauce are 2 lemongrass stalks that have been crushed, bay leaf as an optional to make it more fragrant and the last one is lime leaves that have been separated from the bones with lime leaves.

The eighth stage, after you have put some of the previous spices, now what you have to add to the sauce is chili sauce to taste, 1 sachet of oyster sauce and the last is tomato sauce according to your wishes. Next, stir the sauce again until all the spices that you have put are mixed until evenly distributed. Stir continuously for several minutes.

The ninth stage, all you have to do is put all the corn that you have cut into several parts and you have also cleaned it. Then let stand for a few minutes so that the sauce soaks into the corns. You can also taste the sauce first, if you feel it's lacking, you can add other seasonings such as sauce, sugar or salt to your liking.

The tenth stage, the next thing you have to do after waiting a few minutes after placing the corn, now what you have to do is, prepare 2 eggs and break them, then stir until the yolks and egg whites are mixed. Then if you have stirred until evenly distributed, pour everything into the Padang sauce like the photo above. Stir the sauce until everything is evenly mixed.

The eleventh stage, after previously the corn has been mixed well with the Padang sauce, now all you have to do is pour all the shrimp that you cleaned earlier, use medium-sized shrimp to make it more delicious and the Padang sauce absorbs all the shrimp meat. Then stir continuously until everything is evenly mixed with the Padang sauce.

The last stage, after all the shrimp and corn are evenly mixed with the Padang sauce, now add the onions and soup leaves that you cut into small pieces before. Stir continuously until everything is evenly mixed and after that, the prawns and corn in the Padang sauce are ready to be plated and served.

Well, finally the corn and shrimp in Padang sauce can be served to your friends and family. The taste is really very perfect, the combination of corn and shrimp is very good, coupled with the right amount of spices, making the Padang sauce very tasty and I am addicted to eating this menu continuously.
