Malarrabia

This time we are going to prepare another Peruvian dish, which they usually do to accompany the fish in Easter, but I wanted to eat it today.

It is a fairly easy recipe, they do not have to do much, the name of the dish "Malarrabia" is very curious which translates as: Bad rage, I think. It is one of the most representative dishes of the northern gastronomy in Peru.

We start by boiling some plantain, let them boil until they are soft, do not leave them in the water for long because they lose the flavor.

Then we proceed to cut an onion and a little garlic

We put it to cook with a little oil

We are also going to need to cut some cheese and with a fork we are going to crush it to make crumbs, if you want you can grate it is an option, but making crumbs is how it is commonly added to the plate.

When our plantain is ready we will squash it enough.

Already with the cooked onion and garlic we are going to add the plantain and we will mix this a little so that it integrates well and takes flavor.

Once well integrated, over low heat, we will add the cheese and continue stirring, the idea is that the cheese melts in this preparation. We just have to stir a little and we have it ready.

That's it. this recipe is very easy. This time I decided to accompany it with a beef steak and rice.
