Walking in a little town

Today we went for a walk, oh, yesterday my aunt called me and she was telling me to acompany her to go to a place, the thing is that she never told me where specifically, anyway I agreed because she told me we would do a little walking, plus she also has some leg pain and was just going to walk a bit without much effort.

Hoy salimos a dar una caminata, oh, ayer me llamó mi tía y me estaba comentando que la fuera su compañía para ir a un sitio, el tema es que nunca me dijo a dónde específicamente de cualquier forma yo accedí porque me dijo que haríamos una caminata, además de que ella también tiene un poco de dolor en la pierna y solo iba a caminar un poco sin mucho esfuerzo.

I don't often go out to do something specific, except buy food, before I did go for walks and hike but really with the covid situation it is impossible because I cannot breathe, so walking long walks with a mask that obstructs my oxygen and I am also a person with sinusitis, I don't think it's a good idea.

Yo muy poco salgo realmente a hacer algo en específico, excepto comprar, antes si hacia las paseos y caminata pero realmente con la situación del covid es imposible porque no puedo respirar, entonces caminar largos paseos con una máscara que me obstruye el oxígeno y además soy una persona con sinusitis, no creo que sea buena idea.

So today I was with my aunt, she did some of her activities first, we walked through a few streets, we sat for a while to rest, then we continued walking and at one point we stopped to have something refreshing and she bought a sweet bread for me, It was really delicious, it is impossible to go out without at least eating something.

Entonces hoy estuve con mi tía, ella hizo algunas de sus actividades primero, caminamos por unas cuantas calles, nos sentamos un rato a descansar, luego seguimos caminando y en un punto nos detuvimos a tomar algo refrescante y ella compró un pan dulce para mí, estaba realmente delicioso, es imposible que salga sin al menos comerme algo.

Well, after that we went to a street that I wanted to go and it was very pretty, it is a street with some houses built at the end of the 18th century, in the 1780s. Yes, these are quite old houses, and they are made of mud, quite impressive many of them have been painted and improved a bit to look more visually pleasing but still retain a bit of their history. And there is an impressive part in all this, these houses survived an earthquake in 1878, Pretty incredible, right? Considering that they are built of mud or adobe bricks, from my point of view it is something incredible.

Bueno, después de eso fuimos a una calle que quería ir y estaba muy linda, es una calle con unas casas construidas a finales del siglo XVIII, en los años 1780. Sí estas son casas bastante viejas, y son hechas de barro, bastante impresionante muchas de ellas han sido pintadas y mejoradas un poco para tener un aspecto más agradable visualmente pero siguen conservando un poco de su historia. Y hay una parte impresionante en todo esto, estas casas sobrevivieron a un terremoto en 1878, ¿Bastante increíble, no? Considerándose que están construidas de barro, desde mi punto de vista es algo increíble.

I really like this street a lot, it is colorful, you can see the green landscape ahead, even the sky looks more beautiful walking through these streets.

Realmente me gusta mucho esta calle, es colorida, se puede ver el paisaje verde más adelante, incluso hasta el cielo se ve más bonito caminando por estas calles.

There is also a museum, this is the house where Ezequiel Zamora was born (he was a Venezuelan politician and military man, one of the main participants in the Federal War), it is a museum but obviously it cannot be accessed due to covid reasons, in fact this town where this house is located is a town with a lot of historical facts, this is one of the things that I like about when we are standing in a place and we can know a little of its history and culture

También se encuentra un museo, esta es la casa donde nació Ezequiel Zamora (fue un político y militar venezolano, uno de los principales participantes de la Guerra Federal), es un museo, evidentemente no se puede acceder por motivos de covid de hecho este pueblo donde está ubicada esta casa es un pueblo con bastante hechos históricos, esta es una de las cosas que me gusta de cuando de hecho estamos parados en un sitio y podemos saber un poco de su historia y su cultura.

Down this street I found a beautiful house, very beautiful, you can see that they have remodeled it and left parts of what was the old house, I suppose it is as a way to protect the heritage, to still have a little of its past and embrace it with pride, it was the feeling that it gave me and I wanted to photograph myself there, you can see the aspect that this house really has a long time.

Más abajo de esta calle me encontré con una hermosa casa, muy hermosa, se nota que la han remodelado y dejaron partes de lo que fue la antigua casa, supongo que es como una forma de resguardar el patrimonio, de todavía tener un poco de su pasado y abrazarlo con orgullo, fue la sensación que me dio y quise fotografiarme allí, se ve el aspecto de que realmente tiene mucho tiempo esta casa.

It was nice to go for a walk today, on many occasions I do not usually carry my phone so I always lose wonderful photos and today I thought I could take something good, even if it is to photograph a flower, hahaha, sometimes I like to photograph flowers just because they are pretty.

Estuvo agradable salir a caminar un poco hoy, en muchas ocasiones no suelo llevar mi celular por lo que siempre pierdo fotos maravillosas y hoy pensé que podría tomar algo bueno, aunque sea fotografiar una flor, jajaja, a veces me gusta fotografiar las flores solo porque son lindas.
