El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia en el Bosque de Aventura MACADAMIA, que es un parque donde hay una serie de atracciones extremas, cabe resaltar que con su debida protección cada una. El día comenzó en la ciudad de Bogotá donde nos recogería el transporte que nos llevaría hacia el parque el cual esta situado en un pueblo llamado "La MESA - Cundinamarca". El trayecto duro alrededor de 2 horas, incluyendo en el tiempo una parada para desayunar.
Today I want to share with you my experience in the Adventure Forest ** MACADAMIA **, which is a park where there are a series of extreme attractions, it should be noted that with their due protection each one. The day started in the city of Bogotá where we would be picked up by the transport that would take us to the park which is located in a town called "La MESA - Cundinamarca". The journey lasted around 2 hours, including a breakfast stop in time.
Al llegar a Macadamia nos recibieron un par de instructores que fueron los encargados de guiarnos en nuestro recorrido por las diferentes atracciones del parque. Antes de iniciar el recorrido debíamos estar lo mas cómodos posibles, incluso no debíamos llevar ni celulares que podríamos dañar e incluso nos estorbarían mas adelante, luego de estar todos listos los instructores nos acondicionaron con unos elementos de protección que cuidarían nuestras vidas de algún accidente. Los elementos de protección son los siguientes:
- Casco de Protección.
- Cinturón con Arnés.
- Guantes de Cuero.
Upon arriving in Macadamia we were greeted by a couple of instructors who were in charge of guiding us on our tour of the different attractions of the park. Before starting the tour we should be as comfortable as possible, we should not even carry cell phones that we could damage and would even hinder us later, after being all ready, the instructors conditioned us with some protection elements that would take care of our lives from an accident. The protection elements are the following:
- Protection helmet.
- Belt with Harness.
- Leather gloves.
Grupo Completo / Full Group.
Como se puede ver en la anterior fotografía conformábamos un grupo bastante grande de alrededor 40 personas. Los instructores decidieron dividir el grupo en 2 los cuales recorrerían el parque de manera simultanea pero en distinto orden, luego de dividir el grupo en 2 nos dispusimos a iniciar el recorrido por el parque.
As you can see in the previous photograph, we formed a fairly large group of around 40 people. The instructors decided to divide the group into 2, which would tour the park simultaneously but in a different order. After dividing the group into 2, we decided to start the tour of the park.
Grupo Dividido / Divided Group.
Canopy.
Luego de iniciado el recorrido la primera atracción con la que nos encontraríamos se llama CANOPY. Esta atracción consiste en deslizarse por un cable de acero por medio de una polea que es impulsada por el efecto de la gravedad, ya que el cable tiene una inclinación que permite deslizarse a través de el, esta atracción es de "350 Metros" dividida en 2 secciones.
After starting the tour, the first attraction we would find is called ** CANOPY **. This attraction consists of sliding on a steel cable by means of a pulley that is driven by the effect of gravity, since the cable has an inclination that allows it to slide through it, this attraction is "350 Meters" divided into 2 sections.
Puente Tibetano / Tibetan Bridge.
La segunda atracción fue el Puente Tibetano. Esta atracción consiste en 2 cables de acero sin inclinación usados para cruzar un vació, los 2 cables están instalados paralelamente, uno de ellos va soportar el peso de la persona por donde pasara en equilibrio con la ayuda de las manos que se sujetaran en el cable que pasa por encima de la cabeza. En el cable superior se asegurara la linea de vida que es los que evitara que caigamos al vació en caso de que resbalemos del cable. esta atracción tiene una longitud de "200 Metros".
The second attraction was the Tibetan Bridge. This attraction consists of 2 steel cables without inclination used to cross a vacuum, the 2 cables are installed in parallel, one of them will support the weight of the person where it will pass in balance with the help of the hands that are held in the cable. that goes over the head. In the upper cable the life line will be ensured, which is what will prevent us from falling into the void in case we slip off the cable. this attraction has a length of "200 Meters".
En esta fotografía estoy con mi hermano y unos amigos, la fotografía la tomamos en un pozo que encontramos luego de pasar el Puente Tibetano y de camino a la siguiente atracción.

Rápel / Abseiling.
La tercera y ultima atracción fue el Rápel. Esta atracción consiste en un descenso en un vació de "40 Metros", el descenso se realiza con ayuda de una cuerda que va sujetada al arnés del cinturón. Esta un de las tracciones que mas me gusto y me divirtió.
The third and final attraction was abseiling. This attraction consists of a descent in a vacuum of "40 Meters", the descent is made with the help of a rope that is attached to the harness of the belt. This is one of the tractions that I liked the most and it amused me.
