Las películas del género romántico, son sin duda alguna de mis favoritas, y es que verdaderamente las disfruto tanto, que incluso no necesito de ningún tipo de celebración como San Valentín para tener un buen maratón, así que cuando mi hermana @hannymarchan impulsó esta iniciativa pensé inmediatamente en hacerla yo también, y eso es lo que hoy mi fiel acompañante Tommy y yo les estaremos presentando 😀, y aunque sinceramente nos costó bastante escoger solo 3 películas, al final lo logramos (o bueno yo lo logre 🤣🤣), espero que si han tenido la oportunidad de ver alguna de las películas que mencionare, me hagan saber qué tal les pareció.
Romantic movies are undoubtedly one of my favorites, and I really enjoy them so much that I don't even need any kind of celebration like Valentine's Day to have a good marathon, so when my sister @hannymarchan promoted this initiative I immediately thought of doing it too, and that's what today my faithful companion Tommy and I will be presenting to you 😀, and although honestly it was hard to choose only 3 movies, in the end we did it (or well I did 🤣🤣), I hope that if you have had the opportunity to see any of the movies I will mention, let me know what you thought of them.
📽💕 A Todos los Chicos de los que me Enamore || To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 📽💕
Esta película está basada en la novela del mismo nombre de la autora Jenny Han y está protagonizada por Lana Condor (Lara Jean Covey) y Noah Centineo (Peter Kavinsky), fue estrenada en el año 2018 a través de la plataforma de Netflix y es la primea entrega de una trilogía de películas, la misma relata la historia de Lara Jean, quien ha escrito 5 cartas de amor a los 5 chicos de los cuales se ha sentido enamorada en algún momento de su vida, no obstante estas cartas siempre han permanecido en secreto, hasta que un día misteriosamente todas ellas son enviadas, y ahora nuestra protagonista debe lidiar con las reacciones de sus destinatarios, entre los cuales esta nuestro protagonista Peter Kavinsky. Por circunstancias e interés personales ambos deciden fingir estar en una relación, pero como es de esperarse a media que la historia transcurre, se irán enamorando el uno del otro.
Esta es la película más fresa y cursi de las tres que les voy a mencionar pero a mí me encanta, el cliché de “relaciones fingidas” aunque ya todos sabemos cómo acaba, de alguna forma sigue funcionando, uno de los aspectos que más me gusta de la película, además de obviamente su historia, es su paleta de colores y como cada aspecto visual de la película se adecua a la personalidad de nuestra protagonista, siento que realmente supieron transmitir la esencia del libro y eso es algo que siempre se agradece.
This film is based on the novel of the same name by author Jenny Han and stars Lana Condor (Lara Jean Covey) and Noah Centineo (Peter Kavinsky), was released in 2018 through the Netflix platform and is the first installment of a trilogy of films, it tells the story of Lara Jean, who has written 5 love letters to the 5 boys with whom she has felt in love at some point in her life, however these letters have always remained secret, until one day mysteriously all of them are sent, and now our protagonist must deal with the reactions of their recipients, among which is our protagonist Peter Kavinsky. Due to circumstances and personal interest both decide to pretend to be in a relationship, but as expected as the story unfolds, they will fall in love with each other.
This is the coolest and cheesiest movie of the three I'm going to mention but I love it, the cliché of "pretend relationships" although we all know how it ends, somehow it still works, one of the aspects I like most about the film, besides obviously its story, is its color palette and how each visual aspect of the film fits the personality of our protagonist, I feel that they really knew how to convey the essence of the book and that is something that is always appreciated.
📽💕 Orgullo y Prejuicio || Pride and Prejudice 📽💕
Es la adaptación más reciente y posiblemente la más conocida de la novela del mismo nombre de la autora Jane Austen, se estrenó en el año 2005 y su dirección estuvo a cargo Joe Wright, está protagonizada por Keira Knightley (en el papel de Elizabeth Bennet) y Matthew Macfadyen (en el papel del Sr. Darcy), la película cuenta la historia de las hermanas Bennet, aunque específicamente de Elizabeth “Lizzie” Bennet, quien a diferencia de sus hermanas y apoyada por su padre desea tener una vida con una perspectiva que vaya un poco más allá del matrimonio, con la llegada al pueblo del Sr Bingley (interpretado por Simon Woods) también llega el inminente primer encuentro entre Lizzie y nuestro protagonista el Sr Darcy, quienes tienen una pésima primera impresión el uno del otro, aunque bien dicen que no hay que dejarse guiar por las primeras impresiones, en esta historia entenderemos la razón de ello.
Mi libro favorito convertido en película, obviamente debía estar en este top 3, y aunque hay bastantes cambios en esta adaptación, la esencia de la historia original se mantiene a la perfección, el paisaje y cada una de las tomas que hay en la película son simplemente perfectas en mi opinión, y la escena de la mano ¡Dios mío!, si no has visto la esta película probablemente no entenderás de lo que hablo, pero esa escena tan sencilla y con un gesto que a simple vista puede parecer tan insignificante, representa tanto para la historia que sencillamente la vuelve memorable. Definitivamente me encanta esta película, y la puedo ver un montón de veces y me sigue pareciendo preciosa.
It is the most recent and possibly the best known adaptation of the novel of the same name by author Jane Austen, was released in 2005 and was directed by Joe Wright, it stars Keira Knightley (in the role of Elizabeth Bennet) and Matthew Macfadyen (in the role of Mr. Darcy), the film tells the story of the Bennet sisters, but specifically of Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bennet, who unlike her sisters and supported by her father wishes to have a life with a perspective that goes a little beyond marriage, with the arrival in town of Mr. Bingley (played by Simon Woods) also comes the imminent first meeting between Lizzie and our protagonist Mr. Darcy, who have a lousy first impression of each other, although they say you should not be guided by first impressions, in this story we will understand the reason for it.
My favorite book turned into a movie, obviously had to be in this top 3, and although there are many changes in this adaptation, the essence of the original story is maintained to perfection, the scenery and each of the shots in the film are simply perfect in my opinion, and the hand scene my God, if you have not seen this movie you probably will not understand what I mean, but that scene so simple and with a gesture that at first glance may seem so insignificant, represents so much to the story that simply makes it memorable. I definitely love this movie, and I can watch it a lot of times and still find it beautiful.
📽💕 Your Name || Kimi No Na Wa 📽💕
En un formato totalmente diferente a las películas anteriores tenemos Your Name, una película de animación japonesa que se estrenó en el 2016 y que además fue escrita y dirigida por Makoto Shinkai, en sus voces originales tenemos a Mone Kamishiraishi (como Mitzuha Miyamizu) y a Ryūnosuke Kamiki (como Taki Tachibana). Mitsuha y Taki son dos completos desconocidos, que incluso viven en lugares muy separados entre sí, Mitsuha vive en un pequeño pueblo llamado Itomori, y Taki vive en Tokio, un día ambos comienzas a soñar el uno con el otro, y pronto se dan cuenta que durante estos sueños están intercambiando de cuerpos, así que deciden comunicarse (e incluso establecer ciertas reglas) a través de notas. Entre ellos comienza a surgir un vínculo muy especial conforme los intercambios se van dando y esto hace que ellos quieran conocerse en persona, sin embargo es justo aquí cuando la historia da un giro total y completamente inesperado.
Cuando decidí hacer esta publicación inmediatamente pensé en esta película, porque dentro de este y otros géneros, esta es mi película favorita, es sencillamente preciosa en todos los aspectos, la historia aunque parezca algo poco novedosa realmente esconde mucho más, no hay nada en la película que no haya sido planificado o que no tenga ningún tipo de aporte a la historia, incluso los escenarios, ¡Dios mío! hasta el soundtrack está pensado como parte importante del relato, hay mucho simbolismo dentro de la trama, y justo por eso yo recomiendo verla (al menos la primera vez) subtitulada, y esto fue algo que a mí nadie me aconsejo y la primera vez la vi doblada y me perdí de aspectos importantes de la película, que no noté sino hasta que la vi por segunda vez y subtitulada, así que de verdad denle un oportunidad si aún no la han visto, porque les aseguro que no se van a arrepentir, la historia es hermosa.
In a totally different format from the previous films we have Your Name, a Japanese animated film that was released in 2016 and was also written and directed by Makoto Shinkai, in its original voices we have Mone Kamishiraishi (as Mitzuha Miyamizu) and Ryūnosuke Kamiki (as Taki Tachibana). Mitsuha and Taki are two complete strangers, who even live in places far apart from each other, Mitsuha lives in a small town called Itomori, and Taki lives in Tokyo, one day they both start dreaming about each other, and soon they realize that during these dreams they are exchanging bodies, so they decide to communicate (and even establish certain rules) through notes. A very special bond begins to emerge between them as the exchanges take place and this makes them want to meet in person, however it is right here when the story takes a total and completely unexpected turn.
When I decided to make this publication I immediately thought of this film, because within this and other genres, this is my favorite film, it is simply beautiful in all aspects, the story although it seems a little new really hides much more, there is nothing in the film that has not been planned or that has no contribution to the story, even the scenarios, my God! even the soundtrack is thought as an important part of the story, there is a lot of symbolism within the plot, and that is why I recommend watching it (at least the first time) subtitled, and this was something that nobody advised me and the first time I saw it dubbed and I missed important aspects of the film, which I did not notice until I saw it for the second time and subtitled, so really give it a chance if you have not seen it yet, because I assure you that you will not regret it, the story is beautiful.
