My love for boots
Hola queridos lectores, espero que se encuentre bien, para este nuevo post quiero compartirles mi fascinación por los zapatos, para ser específica, por la botas. No sé muy bien desde cuándo comenzó, solo sé que las amo. Siento que de todos los tipos de zapatos que existen, la botas son mis preferidos, son cómodas y me hacen sentir segura, además de que por el estilo de ropa que me gusta, se complementan bastante bien y hacen que el outfit se vea más genial.
Hello dear readers, I hope you are well, for this new post I want to share with you my fascination for shoes, to be specific, for boots. I don't know very well since when it started, I just know that I love them. I feel that of all the types of shoes that exist, boots are my favorite, they are comfortable and make me feel safe, plus for the style of clothing that I like, they complement quite well and make the outfit look cooler.
Siento que es un calzado muy funcional y que toda persona debería tener, al menos un par, en caso de que no sean sus preferidas. Pero es que si nos ponemos a pensar, hay muchos tipos de botas, hay unas más casuales, con tacón, suela gruesa, suela delgada, colores y materiales distintos, que hacen del calzado algo que puedes combinar muy bien según el estilo que tengas, no hay excusa, sí o sí deberías tener un par de botas. Desafortunadamente, en mi caso, solo tengo dos por ahora. Las primeras que compré fueron como un tesoro para mí y lo siguen siendo. Son bastante simples, pero me han sacado de apuros a la hora de vestirme, porque combinan con absolutamente todo, son negras y de suela delgada, tienen trenzas y un cierre que facilita la tarea de ponérmelas.
I feel that it is a very functional shoe and that everyone should have at least one pair, in case they are not your favorite. But if we think about it, there are many types of boots, there are more casual ones, with heels, thick soles, thin soles, different colors and materials, which make the shoes something that you can combine very well according to the style you have, there is no excuse, yes or yes you should have a pair of boots. Unfortunately, in my case, I only have two for now. The first ones I bought were like a treasure for me and they still are. They are quite simple, but they have gotten me out of trouble when it comes to getting dressed, because they combine with absolutely everything, they are black and thin-soled, they have braids and a zipper that makes it easy to put them on.
Hace como una semana, más o menos, salí con mis padres a resolver un asunto del banco, este se encuentra en un centro comercial. Ya había visto que habían muchas tiendas con descuentos allí, pero como no tenía mucho dinero, fui con la mentalidad de que no compraría nada.
About a week ago, more or less, I went out with my parents to solve a bank issue, this is located in a shopping center. I had already seen that there were a lot of discount stores there, but since I didn't have a lot of money, I went with the mindset that I wouldn't buy anything.
Mi mamá estaba buscando unas sandalias y me pido que la ayudara con eso. Entre tienda y tienda, mientras buscábamos una dónde hubiera variedad, pasábamos por el frente de una tienda que en su mayoría tenía zapatos deportivos, veo que está en descuento, "50, 60 y 70% de descuento", decía el cartel. No entramos a esa porque parecía una tienda deportiva. Pero como soy un imán para las botas, a pesar de que soy miope, vi unas mesas llenas de botas en todo en centro de la tienda y me detuve. Según yo vi que decía, "15 dólares", pero como les dije, soy miope y no confío mucho en mi vista, me acerqué para corroborar. Casi grito, mi vista no me falló.
My mom was looking for some sandals and asked me to help her with that. In between stores, while looking for a store with variety, we passed by the front of a store that mostly had sports shoes, I see that it is on discount, "50, 60 and 70% off", the sign said. We didn't go into that one because it looked like a sports store. But since I am a magnet for boots, even though I am nearsighted, I saw some tables full of boots all over the center of the store and stopped. According to me it said, "$15", but as I told you, I'm nearsighted and don't trust my eyesight, so I went over to check. I almost screamed, my eyesight didn't fail me.
Solo tenía 5 dólares encima, me faltaban 10, dónde los iba a conseguir. Me puse como loca a pedirle a mi papá que me prestara los 10, que quería las botas, pero mi papá no tenía para prestarme, le rogué a mi mamá, quien se negaba diciendo "para qué otras botas, ya tienes unas". Pero no me rendí, seguí insistiendo. Mientras todo esto pasaba, estaba hablando con mi prima por teléfono y le mencioné que me faltaba dinero, y ella, que sabe cuánto amo las botas, se ofreció a prestarme el dinero, me puse a saltar, mi mamá no estaba muy emocionada pero vio que de verdad las quería y al final cedió y me dejó ir a comprarlas. Estando en la tienda me puse a ver atentamente las botas, estaba eufórica, pero me detuve un momento a pensar, "¿Y si, no hay de mi talla? Voy a llorar".
I only had 5 dollars on me, I was 10 dollars short, where was I going to get it. I went crazy asking my dad to lend me the 10, I wanted the boots, but my dad didn't have any to lend me, I begged my mom, who refused saying "why another pair of boots, you already have some". But I didn't give up, I kept insisting. While all this was going on, I was talking to my cousin on the phone and I mentioned that I was short of money, and she, who knows how much I love boots, offered to lend me the money, I jumped, my mom was not very excited but she saw that I really wanted them and in the end she gave in and let me go buy them. When I was in the store I looked carefully at the boots, I was euphoric, but I stopped for a moment to think, "What if they don't come in my size? I'm going to cry.
Me gustaron unas negras, que por si no lo he mencionado, aunque no es mi color favorito, amo la ropa y calzado negro. Pero mi mamá me dijo que ya tenia unas negras, que esas no, entonces escogí estas marrones que amé. Pedí de mi talla y afortunadamente había, pero me quedaron grandes, entonces la chica me buscó una talla menos y yo toda feliz me las medí. No me las quería quitar ni un segundo, incluso, después de pagarlas, me las dejé puestas, me sentía como una princesa. Y ahí estaba yo saltando de tienda en tienda con mi mamá y mis nuevas consentidas, me sentí como niña con juguete nuevo. Debo admitir que eso me hizo muy feliz. Eso es todo por el post, espero haya sido de su agrado, disfruté mucho contándoles esta experiencia, hasta la próxima.
I liked some black ones, which in case I haven't mentioned, even though it's not my favorite color, I love black clothes and shoes. But my mom told me she already had black ones, not those, so I chose these brown ones which I loved. I asked for my size and fortunately there were some, but they were too big, so the girl found me a size smaller and I happily measured them. I didn't want to take them off for a second, even after paying for them, I kept them on, I felt like a princess. And there I was, jumping from store to store with my mom and my new favorites, I felt like a little girl with a new toy. I must admit that made me very happy.
