Buenas noches querido amigos, espero que hayan pasado un sábado fenomenal... En ésta oportunidad, les voy a compartir el paso a paso para elaborar unos exquisitos "chips de boniatos y patatas con salsa tártara de zanahoria". La magia de ésta deliciosa receta la encontramos en su textura crocante, al acompañarla con nuestra fabulosa "salsa tártara de zanahoria" logramos una suculenta combinación... Un manjar al paladar!

Pongámonos el delantal y empecemos nuestro divertido y maravilloso proceso...

Good evening dear friends, I hope you had a great Saturday... In this opportunity, I am going to share with you the step by step process to elaborate some exquisite "sweet potato and potato chips with carrot tartar sauce". The magic of this delicious recipe is found in its crunchy texture, when accompanied by our fabulous "carrot tartar sauce" we achieve a succulent combination... A delicacy to the palate!

Let's put on our apron and start our fun and wonderful process...

Necesitarán los siguientes ingredientes:

  • 3 patatas
  • 3 boniatos
  • 1/2 cebolla
  • 1 zanahoria mediana
  • 1 cebollín
  • 2 dientes de ajo
  • 1 cucharadita de salsa de soja
  • 1/2 cucharadita de mostaza
  • 3 cucharadas de mayonesa
  • perejil
  • cilantro fresco
  • sal al gusto

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 3 potatoes
  • 3 sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of mustard
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • parsley
  • fresh coriander
  • Salt to taste

  • El primer paso será: elaborar nuestra apetitosa y exquisita "salsa tártara de zanahoria", ésta salsa es el complemento ideal para nuestra receta y para infinidad de platillos... Agregamos a una licuadora o procesador eléctrico 3 cucharadas de mayonesa.
  • The first step will be: to elaborate our appetizing and exquisite "carrot tartar sauce", this sauce is the ideal complement for our recipe and for infinity of dishes... We add to a blender or electric processor 3 spoonfuls of mayonnaise.

  • Añadimos la salsa de soja...
  • We add the soy sauce...

  • Incorporamos 1 cucharadita de mostaza (mezclamos bien).
  • Add 1 teaspoon of mustard (mix well).

  • Agregamos la cebolla, el ajo y el cebollín (la parte blanca).

  • A continuación, añadimos la zanahoria... éste ingrediente aportará un magnífico color a nuestra salsa.

  • Colocamos el perejil y el cilantro fresco (finamente cortados), éstos ingredientes aportarán un maravilloso contraste.

  • Decoramos con la parte verde del cebollín. Enfriamos en la nevera durante 30 minutos, para que todos los ingredientes se integren bien.

  • Amigos, a continuación empecemos nuestro maravilloso proceso... Cortamos en láminas delgadas los boniatos y las patatas. Las incorporamos en un envase con agua (para evitar que adquieran una tonalidad oscura).

  • Añadimos 1 cucharadita con sal a las patatas, éste ingrediente incrementará la textura tostada en el proceso de cocción, nuestras patatas quedarán doradas en el borde y muy suaves en su interior.

  • Empezaremos a sofreír los boniatos... Agregamos aceite de girasol a un caldero hondo, sofreímos hasta comprobar que están dorados por ambos lados.

  • Realizamos el mismo procedimiento con las patatas... Colamos y secamos bien antes de sofreír.

  • We'll start frying the sweet potatoes... We add sunflower oil to a deep pot, fry until they are golden on both sides.
  • We perform the same procedure with the potatoes... We strain and dry well before frying.
