Hello Hive friends! I hope you are fine ❤️. Yesterday I made a post about my friend's birthday and @officialuroga told me that he expected to see the post about MY birthday. Well, the truth is that my next birthday is still more than 3 months away so I'm going to show you what happened on my last birthday when I turned 26 ❤️.
¡Hola amigos de Hive! Espero que se encuentren bien. Ayer hice una publicación sobre el cumpleaños de mi amiga y @officialuroga me dijo que esperaba ver la publicación sobre MI cumpleaños. Bueno, la verdad es que aún faltan más de 3 meses para mi siguiente cumpleaños así que voy a mostrarle lo que sucedió en mi último cumpleaños cuando cumplí 26 ❤️.
My birthday is June 2nd. By then, last year we were still in strict quarantine. That is, meetings, much less parties, were not allowed. This made me very sad because I love my birthday and of course celebrating with family and friends. However, despite being a different year, all my loved ones made sure that I have a great day.
The first gift was given to me by my little sister Kiara at midnight. A cake made from mashed potatoes. This was hilarious.
Mi cumpleaños es el 2 de junio. Para ese entonces, el año pasado seguíamos en cuarentena estricta. Es decir, no estaban permitidas las reuniones ni mucho menos fiestas. Esto me puso muy triste porque a mi me encanta cumplir años y por supuesto festejar con familia y amigos. Sin embargo, a pesar de ser un año distinto, todos mis seres queridos se encargaron de que tenga un día genial.
El primer regalo me lo hizo mi pequeña hermana Kiara a la medianoche. Una torta hecha de puré de papas. Esto fue muy gracioso.
Then the next morning my friends sent me a cake that looked delicious. I live very far from all my friends, so this gesture of sending a delivery to my house made me very happy (and I still think that the deliver was surely more expensive than cake).
Después, a la mañana siguiente mis amigas me enviaron por delivery una torta que se veía deliciosa. Yo vivo muy lejos de todos mis amigos, entonces este gesto de enviar un delivery hasta mi casa me puso muy feliz (y aún sigo pensando que el viaje seguramente fue más costoso que la torta).
In the evening, other friends sent me three boxes of pizza and ice cream. This ended up surprising me because I had been talking to them all day and they knew how to keep the secret 😅.
A la noche, otros amigos me enviaron tres cajas de pizza y helado. Esto me terminó de sorprender porque yo había estado hablando con ellos todo el día y supieron guardar el secreto 😅.
Finally, we have sung the happy birthday song through a videocall ❤️.
Por último, hemos cantado la canción de feliz cumpleaños a través de una videollamada ❤️.

Without a doubt, this birthday will always be in my heart because of how special and different it was. Although we were all far away, I felt them very close 😍.
Sin dudas este cumpleaños va a estar siempre en mi corazón por lo especial y distinto que fue. Aunque estuvimos todos lejos los sentí muy cerca 😍.

Awwwww! It's just so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ And you looked really great on your last birthday too. I think I really love the mashed potato cake though, reading that part left a cute smile on my face, that's just amazing. Also, it's nice of your friends taking out time to surprise you and also the virtual birthday looked really cool.
