On 14 August 1947 Pakistan got independence from British. Every year Pakistani celebrate this day with great spirit. On this day people do many activities to celebrate the day. First of all, there are many rallies in different places. People participate in these rallies on bikes, cars, and different vehicles decorated with flags and green balloons. Main buildings are decorated with lights of Pakistani flag colors.
In the market, stalls are held that sell different shapes of Pakistani badges & flags. On these stalls, some other Pakistani flag accessories are also sold like caps, bands, bangles, and different masks. On these stalls, Azad Kashmir flags are also sold.
On Pakistan independence day celebration, everywhere white & green color dominates. In market people decorate their shops with white & green balloons. Bakeries sell Pakistani flag-shaped cake and pastries. In the evening people visit their relative's homes and gift these cakes.
In big malls, they arrange a stage for people where they sing national songs. In these malls, they also arrange some free activities for children, like a free mini-train ride, free face painting, and free pastries or sweet, etc
