¿En qué consiste la carrera?/ What does the race consist of?
Mi primera profesión es profesora de informática, el cual logre estudiar en la Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador. Cuando inicie allí el título que emitía la universidad era profesora de informática – mención matemática, luego después del primer semestre se dividió y decidí irme por el área de informática. Parece mentira pero para ese entonces ni sabía cómo instalar ni trabajar con una PC.
Ser profesora de informática es saber todo lo relacionado con software y hadware de las computadoras, unido a la parte pedagógica. En fin la carrera se trata de enseñar de manera didáctica y pedagógica todo lo referente a las tecnologías de información y comunicación y todos los componentes físicos e intangibles de un equipo computacional. Mi profesión me ha permitido poder trabajar con diferentes sistemas operativos entre ellos tanto software libre, como software propietario, desde su instalación como también sus entornos gráficos. Por otro lado diseño materiales educativos computarizados o software educativos que permitan a los niños aprender de una manera divertida y lúdica a través de las TIC.
Tengo que reconocer que mi aprendizaje y mi experiencia la adquiero a través de la práctica y al aprendizaje autodidacta; ya que en la universidad se aprende lo básico; y yo sentía que la tecnología cada día cambiaba y salían nuevas versiones o nuevos sistemas. Por tal motivo en más de 15 años he buscado siempre actualizarme para siempre poder siempre estar al día con todos los cambios que existan a nivel tecnológico.
Esta es mi primera experiencia profesional en pregrado; luego realice una especialización en experto en procesos elearning, después obtuve la maestría en educación a distancia y por ultimo decidí realizar otra especialización en comercio electrónico.
My first profession is a computer science teacher, which I managed to study at the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador. When I started there, the degree issued by the university was professor of computer science - mathematics mention, then after the first semester it split up and I decided to go to the computer science area. It seems incredible but at that time I did not know how to install or work with a PC.
Being a computer science teacher is to know everything related to computer software and hardware, together with the pedagogical part. In short, the degree is about teaching in a didactic and pedagogical way everything related to information and communication technologies and all the physical and intangible components of a computer equipment. My profession has allowed me to work with different operating systems, including both free software and proprietary software, from their installation as well as their graphical environments. On the other hand, I design computerized educational materials or educational software that allow children to learn in a fun and playful way through ICT.
I have to recognize that my learning and my experience is acquired through practice and self-taught learning; since in the university you learn the basics; and I felt that technology was changing every day and new versions or new systems were coming out. For this reason, in more than 15 years I have always sought to update myself so that I can always be up to date with all the changes that exist at a technological level.
This is my first professional experience in undergraduate; Then I did a specialization in expert in elearning processes, then I got a master's degree in distance education and finally I decided to do another specialization in electronic commerce.
¿Siempre llamó tu atención? / Has it always caught your attention?
No esta no era mi Carrera de inicio, creo cuando sales muy joven del bachillerato no sabes que vocación tienes realmente. Empecé estudiando contaduría; luego me retire y por curiosidad y querer aprender de la tecnología ingrese a este instituto. Actualmente me encanta mi carrera y amo lo que hago a pesar de los salarios.
No, this was not my initial career, I think when you leave high school very young you don't know what vocation you really have. I started studying accounting; then I retired and out of curiosity and wanting to learn about technology, I entered this institute. Currently I love my career and I love what I do despite the salaries.
Si hubieras estudiado lo que querías de niño, ¿qué sería? / If you had studied what you wanted as a child, what would it be?
Siempre decía que sería abogada, siempre me gusto esta Carrera; me gusta lo justo y siempre hacer las cosas bien. Pero por cosas de la vida no me toco estudiar esto.
I always said that I would be a lawyer, I always liked this career; I like what is fair and always do things well. But for things in life I don't have to study this.
¿Alguien cercano a ti estudia la carrera? / Is anyone close to you studying the career?
Mi Hermana pequeña, luego de salir del bachillerato decidió también estudiar la misma Carrera que yo . Yo la ayudaba en todo lo que le mandaban ya que tenía la experiencia en el área.
My little sister, after leaving high school, also decided to study the same career as me. I helped her in everything they sent her since I had experience in the area.
¿Tus padres te apoyan? Are your parents supportive?
Cuando decidí ingresar a estudiar mi Carrera trabajaba y estudiaba, me pague mis estudios en cuanto a lo monetario. Mis padres me apoyaron de manera moral. No fue fácil tener que estudiar y trabajar; pero gracias a ello logre obtener mi indecencia.
When I decided to study my career, I worked and studied, I paid for my studies in terms of money. My parents supported me morally. It was not easy having to study and work; but thanks to that I managed to get my indecency.
