Hooola amigos espero estén bien 😊. Hoy les quiero compartir unas imágenes de algunos de mis alumnos y mí experiencia del lugar donde trabajo que es más un proyecto social que musical.

Desde que llegué a Argentina comencé a trabajar en una parroquia de una pequeña ciudad fuera de Capital, y uno de los motivos que me gusto de iniciar mí trabajo allí es porque los alumnos no son todos pequeños, a muchos no les gusta el violín, otros son rebeldes y otros buscan la música como vía de escape.

Pero la función del proyecto era buscar soluciones para que los niños y adolescentes dejaran las calles, tuviesen motivaciones de luchar por algo y salir adelante, que se dieran cuenta que aunque viven en un lugar donde no llegan suficientes recursos, existen otras razones y acciones que no sea robar o hacerle daño a otra persona.

Este trabajo inició siendo más un proyecto social que musical, porque solo se inscribían alumnos que no querían estar en la casa o porque tenían padres los obligaban a ir. Así que fuimos a varias casas donde sabíamos que habían chicos para motivarlos a hacer algo más que estar en la calle, y a través de la música los fuimos enamorando de algún instrumento.

Aunque les cuento que los primeros 6 meses casi nadie tomaba en serio el proyecto porque decían que siempre esas cosas eran temporales, pero actualmente llevamos casi 2 años y ya tenemos 20 chicos de violín (y hay 50 inscritos), todos con edades muy diferentes, hay unos que solo van porque necesitan alguien que los escuche y no siempre quieren tocar, y otros porque se esconden en la música para olvidar los problemas que tienen alrededor.

Pero en estos 2 años puedo asegurarles que tanto ellos como yo hemos cambiado y yo he aprendido mucho de ellos, pero lo lindo y satisfactorio es que son mejores personas, que no han avanzado como cualquier otro músico en el violín, pero han cambiado como seres humanos, han aprendido a tomar mejores decisiones, y valoran las cosas que tienen; unos que ya tienen 18 y más, han decidido estudiar, y los pequeños quieren salir de casa para poder estudiar y piden de regalo un violín (eso aunque sean cosas sencillas, nos hacen sentir muy orgullosos como profes).

Así que hoy les puedo asegurar que definitivamente la música si cambia personas, nos convierte en mejores personas y más sensibles a las realidades ajenas.

Hiii friends I hope you are well 😊. Today I want to share some images of some of my students and my experience of the place where I work, which is more a social project than a musical one.

This work began as a social rather than a musical project, because only students who did not want to be at home or because they had parents were forced to go. So we went to several houses where we knew there were boys to motivate them to do more than just be on the street, and through music we fell in love with some instrument.

Although I tell you that the first 6 months almost nobody took the project seriously because they said that these things were always temporary, but currently we have been almost 2 years old and we already have 20 violin boys (and there are 50 registered), all with very different ages, There are some who only go because they need someone to listen to them and they don't always want to play, and others because they hide in music to forget the problems around them.

But in these 2 years I can assure you that they and I have changed and I have learned a lot from them, but the nice and satisfying thing is that they are better people, who have not advanced like any other musician on the violin, but have changed as beings. humans, they have learned to make better decisions, and value the things they have; Some who are already 18 and older have decided to study, and the little ones want to leave home to study and ask for a violin as a gift (even though these are simple things, they make us feel very proud as a teacher).

So today I can assure you that music definitely changes people, it makes us better people and more sensitive to other people's realities.
