Para ocupar mi tiempo en esta cuarentena he revisado todos los rincones de mis closet y me he encontrado con verdaderos tesoros, uno de ellos es un álbum de fotos de cuando hice mi primer viaje al extranjero, cuyo destino fue Ciudad de México, Capital de México. Tenía en ese entonces 14 años. Viajé con mi hermana mayor y mis primas.

To occupy my time in this quarantine I have checked every corner of my closet and I have found real treasures, one of them is a photo album from when I made my first trip abroad, whose destination was Mexico City, Capital of Mexico. I was 14 years old at the time. I traveled with my older sister and my cousins.
Al ver las fotos, decidí captarlas con la cámara de mi móvil Redmi 6 Gold de Xiaomi, publicarlas y viajar con ustedes 43 años atrás. Para aquel entonces recuerdo que llevamos al viaje una cámara marca Polaroid, no recuerdo el modelo. Las fotos lógicamente lucen envejecidas. Pero igual me hace mucha ilusión publicar las fotos de mi primer viaje al extrajeron.

Templo y Convento de las Capuchinas//Temple and Convent of the Capuchins
El exconvento y Parroquia de Santa María de Guadalupe - Capuchinas es un templo ubicado al costado oriente del Templo expiatorio a Cristo Rey. Cuando visitamos este templo el guía turístico nos explicó que través de la historia de la Colegiata había albergado muchas veces a la Santisma Virgen de Guadalupe cuando el Templo era cerrado por cualquier remodelación. Pudimos observar su hundimiento a causa de la inestabilidad del subsuelo.
The ex-convent and Parish of Santa María de Guadalupe - Capuchinas is a temple located on the east side of the Expiatory Temple to Christ the King. When we visited this temple the tour guide explained to us that throughout the history of the Collegiate Church it had housed the Holy Virgin of Guadalupe many times when the Temple was closed for any remodeling. We were able to observe its collapse due to the instability of the subsoil.

Xochimilco
Hicimos un tour por el Lago de Xochimilco, como pueden notar las trajineras (Plataforma de madera con techo de lamina, donde caben entre 15 y 20 personas) no eran tan modernas. El lago de Xochimilco es uno de los cinco lagos que forman la cuenca lacustre del valle de México.
We took a tour of Lake Xochimilco, as you can see the trajineras (wooden platform with a sheet roof, where 15 to 20 people fit) were not so modern. Lake Xochimilco is one of the five lakes that form the lake basin of the Valley of Mexico.
Pirámide del Sol y Pirámide de la Luna//Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon
No podíamos perdernos de las pirámides así que fuimos a Teotihuacán, ahí visitamos la Pirámide del Sol es la estructura más importante dentro del Conjunto Arqueológico de Teotihuacán, encontrándose en el centro de la Calzada de los Muertos, entre la Pirámide de la Luna al norte y La Ciudadela en el sur. Es impresionante la majestuosidad de estas pirámides, me encantó subirlas es una experiencia increíble, hay que preparar las piernas.
We could not miss the pyramids so we went to Teotihuacan, there we visited the Pyramid of the Sun is the most important structure within the Archaeological Site of Teotihuacan, being in the center of the Causeway of the Dead, between the Pyramid of the Moon in the north and the Citadel in the south. The majesty of these pyramids is impressive, I loved climbing them, it is an incredible experience, you have to prepare your legs.
Mis hivers hasta aquí llego mi viaje al pasado en mi visita a México, confieso que hay muchos detalles que ya olvidé. Ojala tenga la suerte de volver a viajar a México, quiero hacer una visita mucho más larga para conocer la Reviera Maya, Acapulco, la Casa de Frida Khalo o “La casa azul” y muchos sitios más. _México lindo y querido te quiero volver a ver_ 🤠🎶
My hivers up to here arrived my trip to the past in my visit to Mexico, I confess that there are many details that I already forgot.
