Luego de tres días de shopping en Miami nos fuimos vía terrestre a Daytona. Fuimos en carro "propio", es decir, mi primo nos prestó su carro. Fueron solo 2 horas de camino, creo. No hubo ningún contratiempo ya que tomamos autopista corrido de un punto al otro.
After three days of shopping in Miami, we went by land to Daytona. We drove "own" car, that is, my cousin lent us his car. It was only a 2 hour walk, I think. There was no setback as we took the highway from one point to the other.

Al llegar, ya pasaba el mediodía, así que decidimos buscar un hotel para dejar nuestras cosas antes irnos a conocer. Llegamos a uno que nos recomendaron, pequeño, cómodo y en plena ciudad, así que estuvo muy bien todo.
Upon arrival, it was already past noon, so we decided to find a hotel to leave our things before going to meet. We arrived at one that they recommended, small, comfortable and in the heart of the city, so everything was very good.
Dejamos nuestro equipaje y nos fuimos a El Faro, ya entrado el atardecer, éste lucía iluminado y muy lindo. Por razones de seguridad no nos permitieron subir, así que nos conformamos con tomar un café, pasear por los alrededores y nos fuimos a descansar.
We left our luggage and went to El Faro, late in the evening, it looked bright and very beautiful. For security reasons they did not allow us to go up, so we settled for having a coffee, walking around and we went to rest.
Al siguiente día nos fuimos a conocer el Daytona International Speedway, a través del tour guiado que ofrecen. Había pocos turistas por lo que pudimos disfrutar bastante del espacio y de la narración del guía a cerca de cada aspecto de esta pista de carreras, en la que nos comentaron que solo se dan 2 competencias al año.
The next day we went to see the Daytona International Speedway, through the guided tour they offer. There were few tourists so we were able to enjoy the space and the guide's narration about each aspect of this race track, in which they told us that there are only 2 competitions a year.
El único por menor fue que la temperatura estaba bastante baja y adicional a eso había áreas que tenían aire acondicionado, así que en esos espacios no nos quedamos mucho tiempo ni escuchamos al guía, preferíamos salir y esperar que al resto del grupo para continuar el recorrido.
The only minor thing was that the temperature was quite low and in addition to that there were areas that had air conditioning, so in those spaces we did not stay long or listen to the guide, we preferred to go out and wait for the rest of the group to continue the tour.
Finalmente pasamos a la zona VIP y al palco de periodistas del Daytona International Speedway, lugar, sin duda alguna, privilegiado para disfrutar de una carrera de Nascar y apostar al mejor piloto.
Finally, we go to the VIP area and the journalists' box at Daytona International Speedway, undoubtedly a privileged place to enjoy a Nascar race and bet on the best driver.
