Did you know that the annoying mosquitoes that suck your blood are females?
Esto se debe a que los machos no pican porque se alimentan de nรฉctar, mientras que las hembras necesitan la sangre, no solo como alimento, sino tambiรฉn para producir huevos. Los mosquitos pueden vivir sin picar, pero las hembras lo necesitan para poder poner huevos.
This is because males do not bite because they feed on nectar, while females need blood, not only for food, but also to produce eggs. Mosquitoes can live without biting, but females need it in order to lay eggs.
