Una semana maravillosa, llena de éxitos y alegrías para todos, doy gracias a Dios por permitirme compartir con ustedes mis letras, había comenzado a escribir con otras frases y las eliminé, es tiempo de dejar atrás algunos temas o al menos dejarlos para segundo plano, me gusta ser optimista, por ello diré: vamos a triunfar. Seamos triunfadores conquistando cada día el amor y la felicidad en nuestros hogares, una tarea sencilla para subirnos el ánimo y buscar ahora cumplir con las tareas difíciles pero menos importantes, primero la familia siempre.
A wonderful week, full of successes and joys for everyone, I thank God for allowing me to share with you my lyrics, I had started writing with other phrases and I eliminated them, it is time to leave behind some songs or at least leave them for the background, I like to be optimistic, so I will say: we are going to succeed. Let's be triumphant by conquering love and happiness in our homes every day, a simple task to raise our spirits and to seek now to fulfill the difficult but less important tasks, first the family always.
Les cuento que hace ya aproximadamente veinte años, la empresa donde trabajaba me asignó a un proyecto en algún lugar de la selva Colombiana, allí había de todo, pienso que mientras estuve haciendo ese trabajo viví en el infierno, la seguridad no existía aunque estaban el ejército y la policía, todos andábamos con temor a morir en cualquier instante, para mi despertar era verdaderamente un milagro, leer los reportes de los trabajadores diciendo todo lo que encontraban tirado en el campo, llenaba de tristeza mi corazón. ¿Saben? hay momentos que nos marcan y nos enseñan el valor de estar vivos; cuando terminamos ese trabajo y nos dirigíamos al aeropuerto para tomar un vuelo a Bogotá, les cuento que en el camino, el carro donde íbamos se encontró con una gandola casi de frente y el choque fue inevitable, gracias a Dios salimos todos ilesos, pero no terminó allí la aventura, logramos encontrar que nos llevaran a dos de los que estábamos en el carro hasta el aeropuerto, estando ya en la sala de espera, el compañero de trabajo, me dice que iría a buscar un centro de telecomunicaciones para avisar del accidente y les enviaran ayuda a los que se habían quedado en el lugar del suceso, a los pocos minutos regresa corriendo asustado y me dice que él vio cómo a un motorizado se la cayó algo que él creía que era una granada, Dios, las piernas me temblaban con tan terrible susto. Pido a Dios no volver a vivir semejante prueba, no digo que no lo haría, por necesidad y por la familia creo que todos nos arriesgaríamos, pero debemos evitarlo.

There are moments that mark us and teach us the value of being alive; when we finished that work and were heading to the airport to take a flight to Bogota, I tell you that on the way, the car we were going in met a gondola almost head-on and the crash was inevitable, thank God we all came out unharmed, but the adventure did not end there, we managed to find a ride for two of us who were in the car to the airport, Being already in the waiting room, the co-worker tells me that he would go to look for a telecommunications center to warn of the accident and send help to those who had stayed at the site of the event, a few minutes later he returns running scared and tells me that he saw how a motorized vehicle dropped something that he thought was a grenade, God, my legs were shaking with such a terrible fright. I ask God not to live through such a trial again, I do not say that he would not, out of necessity and for the family I think we would all risk it, but we must avoid it.
Con esa experiencia podemos ver que la vida se nos puede ir en cualquier instante, tenemos que entender que aunque se nos haga algo normal despertar después de dormir, verdaderamente es un milagro abrir los ojos y sentir que estamos vivos, aprendamos de las vivencias propias y ajenas, evaluemos las situaciones que nos pueden hacer caer por nuestra inocencia o por desconocimiento. En ese entonces tenía la necesidad de aceptar el trabajo, pero no sabía el verdadero riesgo, de conocer bien la situación hubiese pedido más dinero; lo que sí les puedo decir es que lo que gané, lo invertí en vida y eso llena mi corazón de alegría.
Existir es un verdadero tesoro, vamos a cuidarnos y cuidemos a nuestros seres amados.

At that time I had the need to accept the job, but I did not know the real risk, if I knew the situation well I would have asked for more money; what I can tell you is that what I earned, I invested in life and that fills my heart with joy.
