Today was a very cold day for a late March day. It was -15 C in the morning.
I played simultaneous games of go against @gamer00 and his son at the go club today. @gamer00 took a seven stone handicap and won!
I waited patiently for the young photographer to finish his work.
@erikah inspired me to take some shopping mall photos the other day. I had some stuff to buy and figured I could make use of the opportunity because this mall was on the way home from the club.
That's a great selection of craft beers. There were many more shelves like that.
Few of the shops were open at the time.
This one was but I did not need anything.
The Turkish parliament voted 176-0 in favor of ratifying Finland's bid to join NATO today. 30/30 of the member countries have ratified. Joining the alliance is now a technicality involving a bit of paperwork with the final step being delivering the accession documents to Washington, DC.

OTAN is the French language acronym for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (Organisation du Traité de l'Atlantique Nord) and also a Finnish word literally meaning "I take" and best translated as "I'll have" in this case.
OTAN is a West Coast style fresh and hoppy IPA.

Holy shit Markku! That is cold. We had that kind of temperature for a week in February but not in March. And there's no snow here anymore, we actually had very little snow, like every year lately. It's raining now actually.

I did not follow the news lately but I'm glad to hear Finland is joining NATO. It's better to be safe as this moron has no intention to stop.
The mall was quite empty at around half past eight pm. No security. Did security bother you when you took your mall shots?
Finland's NATO membership will help secure the entire Baltic region. Authoritarian leaders can be unpredictable. Until last spring, the official policy was "NATO option". The the defense forces had been made NATO compatible much earlier. When Russia demanded that NATO stop accepting new members before Feb 24 2022, our leadership and the people turned pro-NATO membership right away. Sweden needs to be allowed to join for the defense planning for the entire region to be possible.
There's nothing quite like seeing beautiful snow-covered landscapes. I live in a city where it never snows, but thanks to Hive members, I can satisfy my longing. Thanks for sharing. ❄️

You're welcome! This weather can change quickly if the direction of the wind changes. +15 C is not unheard of around this time of the year if the air mass has come far enough from the south and if baked in the sun.
