La gastronomía navideña
Son el conjunto de costumbres culinarias que se celebran en Navidad y en mi país Venezuela las tradiciones más populares en cuanto a las comidas navideñas lo representan las Hallacas junto a la ensalada de gallina o pollo y pan de jamón, el pernil, la macarronada o pasticho también son platos típicos en la cena de Navidad y fin de año que no pueden faltar en mi localidad Maracaibo - Estado Zulia.

En casa junto a mi mamá y hermanas entre risas y charlas preparamos las hallacas, nos ponemos de acuerdo para salir a comprar los ingredientes y luego dividimos las tareas, a mi me toca la ensalada o el pasticho, pasamos ratos increíbles al son de una gaita y con unas copas de vino, la Sangría es nuestro vino favorito.

A media noche los más pequeños de la casa se encuentran ansiosos y sonrientes por la llegada del niño Dios y es inmensamente gratificante verlos felices.

La noche buena se aproxima cada vez mas, se siente el ambiente navideño y no aguantaba más las ganas de comer hallacas y esta iniciativa me término de impulsar por eso prepare ricas hallacas para desgutar en familia.
Good night is approaching more and more, the Christmas atmosphere is felt and I could no longer bear the urge to eat Hallacas and this initiative ended up pushing me, so I prepared delicious Hallas to eat with the family.
La Hallaca está hecha con una base de harina de maíz rellena de guiso de pollo o gallina carne y cerdo que lleva aceitunas, alcaparras, pasitas garbanzos, y verduras evueltas en hojas de bijao y amarradas con pabilo.

Luego colocamos a hervir agua introducimos las hallacas, dejarlas sumergidas durante 10-15min, sacar dejar reposar y servir, en esta oportunidad solo complemente con pan campesino y ensalada de papa y huevo, disfrute junto a mi familia de un buen almuerzo.
