Today is the Mother's Day celebration here in the Philippines. I got an early gift this morning when my cousin Steve visited, he greeted me and gave me some fresh fish to cook for lunch and dinner. That was so thoughtful of him. I am slowly trying to learn how to cook simple dishes with fish because fish is really the recommended diet of my nephrologist. Of all animal proteins, he only recommends fish. Cousin Steve knows this and he has been consistent in bringing me these things for free. I am so blessed to have him as a cousin.
