El 16 de noviembre de 2019 (el año pasado), fue el día en que finalmente conocí en persona a gente con almas creadoras, bondadosas y distintas, fue el día en que irrumpimos las cadenas de bloques y la virtualidad de Discord para acercarnos a la verdadera realidad.
November 16, 2019 (last year), was the day I finally met in person people with creative, kind and different souls, it was the day we broke through the block chains and the virtuality of Discord to get closer to the true reality.
Resulta que en mi ciudad, en San Antonio de Los Altos, estado Miranda de Venezuela, un grupo de amigos tenía su agencia de viajes express. Ellos tenían previstos un viaje a Isla Larga, estado Carabobo, donde viven @mariana4ve @laloretoyya y @jauregui98

Para resumir el cuento, el autobús salía que nos llevaría salía de acá de San Antonio a las 03:30 am y estaría en Valencia como a las 5:00 am. El lugar donde Jau, Lalo y Mariana debían esperar al transporte era muy peligroso a esa hora. Por eso, un día antes del viaje, ellos se vinieron a mi casa
En esa foto estábamos disfrutando de unas cervezas y habíamos comprado para hacer sándwiches. Finalmente nos conocimos. Por fin, luego de dos planes infructuosos para hacer un viaje largo con más personas con las que hacemos vida en Discord, nosotros sí pudimos vernos en persona.
To sum up the story, the bus that would take us from here to San Antonio at 03:30 am would be in Valencia at about 5:00 am. The place where Jau, Lalo and Mariana had to wait for the transport was very dangerous at that time. That's why, one day before the trip, they came to my house
In that picture we were enjoying some beers and had bought to make sandwiches. We finally met. Finally, after two unsuccessful plans to make a long trip with more people with whom we live in Discord, we could see each other in person.
Al día siguiente, a la hora prevista tomamos rumbo a las playas del estado Carabobo. El viaje desde mi ciudad hasta allá dura unas dos horas y media.
The next day, at the scheduled time, we set out for the beaches of the state of Carabobo. The trip from my city to there takes about two and a half hours.
Durante el viaje realizamos una parada previo a llegar, aprovechamos para tomarnos el respectivo selfie con nuestras caras hinchadas del sueño pero siempre sonriendo. Excepto Jau, que le gusta poner ocasionalmente su cara seria.
Llegamos a un puerto llamado Quizandal, donde tomé unas cuantas fotos. El calor estaba fuerte. Tuvimos que esperar a que llegara la lancha que nos transportaría a Isla Larga
During the trip we made a stop before arriving, we took the opportunity to take the respective selfie with our faces swollen from sleep but always smiling. Except Jau, who likes to put on his serious face occasionally.
We arrived at a port called Quizandal, where I took a few pictures. The heat was strong. We had to wait for the boat that would transport us to Isla Larga
Mientras eso pasaba yo iba tomando fotos, la empresa que realizaba el viaje me había contratado para tomar las fotos que ellos usuarían para promocionar la aventura en sus redes sociales.
También aproveché para tomar toda esta serie fotográfica que realicé con mi teléfono Samsung S6.
While that was happening I was taking pictures, the company making the trip had hired me to take the photos that they would use to promote the adventure on their social networks.
I also took the opportunity to take this entire photo series that I made with my Samsung S6 phone.
La embarcación iba full y previo a que iniciara su recorrido, nos tomamos otras fotos. Había que dejar testimonio de que nos conocimos luego de tantas conversaciones y experiencias que habíamos compartido por Discord.
Tras un viaje de 20 minutos, llegamos a Isla Larga y como pueden ver es un lugar increíble, con una agua cristalina, sin olas, muy limpio y con una historia muy particular.
The boat was full and before it started its journey, we took other pictures. We had to leave a testimony that we met after so many conversations and experiences we had shared through Discord.
After a 20 minute trip, we arrived at Isla Larga and as you can see it is an incredible place, with crystal clear water, no waves, very clean and with a very particular history.
Cuando arribamos, el personal del Instituto Nacional de Parques de Venezuela (Inparques) nos advirtió sobre una planta venenosa que había en el lugar, por lo que había que tomar la previsiones.
La playa es un paraíso, es un espectáculo para la vista y tienen un clima fresco. Tiene un barco a sus orillas que atracó allí en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y está oxidado. Al lado de la estructura naviera que ya está oxidada se puede bucear a baja profundidad.
When we arrived, the staff of the National Institute of Parks of Venezuela (Inparques) warned us about a poisonous plant that was in the place, so we had to take the forecast.
The beach is a paradise, it is a spectacle for the eyes and they have a fresh climate. It has a boat on its shores that docked there in World War II and it's rusty. Next to the ship structure that is already rusty you can dive at low depth.
Fue una tarde espectacular, con buena comida, bebidas alcohólicas, chucherías, sol para broncearse y un mar turquesa del que no provocaba salirse.
Qué mejor que viajar a personas que tiene el mismo estilo y visión de vida que tú, compañeros con los que has cantado en karaokes, con quienes has reído y has llorado y de quienes has aprendido tanto.
It was a spectacular afternoon, with good food, alcoholic drinks, sweets, sunshine for tanning and a turquoise sea from which it did not provoke leaving.
What better than to travel with people who have the same lifestyle and vision as you, partners with whom you have sung in karaoke, with whom you have laughed and cried and from whom you have learned so much.
Era un momento que debía ocurrir y que bueno que pudimos conocernos antes que pasara esta situaciona sanitaria que afrontamos.
Ese día terminé de ver el contraste entre lo que uno ve por una pantalla y el cómo es la persona cuando la tienes de Frente.
It was a moment that had to happen and it was good that we were able to meet before this health situation that we are facing happened.
That day I ended up seeing the contrast between what you see on a screen and what the person looks like when you have them in front of you.
Lalo y Mariana siempre tienen una sonrisa que compartir, son mujeres muy inteligentes, bondadosas y humildes. Jau es un chamo super alto, super relajado y más callado de lo que pensé que era, pero él es alguien a quien admiro por como escribe y por como narra lo que crea. Es muy versátil y con quien puede hablar sobre cualquier tema.
Fue así que pasamos un día muy especial, con una excelente compañía, con un gran escenario, con los paisajes mágicos de Venezuela.
Lalo and Mariana always have a smile to share, they are very intelligent, kind and humble women. Jau is a super tall, super relaxed and quieter guy than I thought he was, but he is someone I admire for the way he writes and the way he tells what he believes. He's very versatile and can talk to about anything.
So we spent a very special day, with an excellent company, with a great scenery, with the magical landscapes of Venezuela.
Ojala pronto termine todo lo que ocurre en el mundo para volver a viajar y disfrutar con más agradecimiento a la vida por vivir en un país con tantas bellezas.
Este es un post que tenía tiempo planeando compartir y que por fin hallé el momento y las palabras para expresarle todo el agradecimiento a @mariana4ve @laloretoyya y @jauregui98 por las veces que me han ayudado. Los quiero mucho amigos.
