Feliz domingo para todos. Aquí ya casi es hora de almorzar y por lo general nos gusta comer sopa los domingos lo hemos vuelto casi una tradición en nuestra familia.
Happy Sunday to everyone. Here it is almost time for lunch and we usually like to eat soup on Sundays and we have made it almost a tradition in our family.
Cómo no soy muy amante a cocinar, salimos a comer sopa en el mismo sitio todos los domingos, es un lugar pequeño y humilde de una familia Venezolana que vino a este país igual que muchos y les tocó usar su ingenio y habilidades para trabajar por su propia cuenta y crearon un pequeño negocio familiar.
As I'm not very fond of cooking, we go out to eat soup in the same place every Sunday, it is a small and humble place of a Venezuelan family who came to this country like many others and they had to use their ingenuity and skills to work on their own and created a small family business.
Hemos probado diferentes platos en este lugar pero el que más nos gusta a todos es la sopa mute también conocida como mondongo, sin embargo hoy nos sorprendimos cuando al llegar a este sitio no había nada para comer 😱 todo se había acabado y apenas eran la 1:00pm primera vez que nos pasa eso.
We have tried different dishes at this place but the one we all like the most is the mute soup also known as mondongo, however today we were surprised when when we arrived at this place there was nothing to eat 😱 everything was gone and it was barely 1:00pm first time that happens to us.

A pesar de que no íbamos a comer en el sitio me dió mucho gusto ver la sonrisa de la sra cuando salió a decirnos que lo había vendido todo hoy antes de las 12:30pm que algunos días más bien le quedaba algo de comida pero hoy fue de mucha bendición para ella, pues se iría a descansar temprano pues todos los días madruga a cocinar, porque además ella vende desayunos así que su jornada comienza temprano y finaliza bastante tarde.
Even though we were not going to eat at the site I was very happy to see the smile of the lady when she came out to tell us that she had sold everything today before 12:30pm, that some days she had some food left but today was a blessing for her, because she would go to rest early because every day she gets up early to cook, because she also sells breakfasts so her day starts early and ends quite late.
Me dí cuenta de lo afortunada que soy, en este momento yo elijo a qué hora trabajar y que días me puedo tomar de descanso pues mi trabajo me lo permite, mientras que hay personas que deben trabajar sin descanso para tener una vida más cómoda y esto no es malo, al contrario es algo muy admirable pero sé lo difícil que es trabajar sin descanso porque también me ha tocado.
I realized how lucky I am, at this moment I choose what time to work and what days I can take off because my job allows me to do so, while there are people who have to work without rest to have a more comfortable life and this is not bad, on the contrary it is something very admirable but I know how difficult it is to work without rest because it has also touched me.

La sra del restaurante es una mujer ya de avanzada edad con 4 hijos de los cuales 2 la ayudan en el local y se sienten muy dichosos de su negocio, se ve en sus caras el cansancio pero ellos saben que cada esfuerzo vale la pena y que su mamá los necesita porque para ella sola sería muy difícil.
The lady of the restaurant is an elderly woman with 4 children, 2 of whom help her in the restaurant and are very happy with her business, you can see in their faces the tiredness but they know that every effort is worth it and that their mother needs them because it would be very difficult for her to do it on her own.
Me gusta mucho cuando veo a jóvenes asi con unos valores muy bonitos, el de trabajar fuerte y honradamente, el de cuidar unos de los otros como familia y el amor a su madre que se nota apenas uno llega al lugar.
I like very much when I see young people like this with very nice values, to work hard and honestly, to take care of each other as a family and the love for their mother that is noticeable as soon as one arrives to the place.
Sin duda me encantaría ver a mis hijos así dentro de unos años, trabajando, Unidos a la familia, cuidandose entre ellos y compartiendo, pues quién no quiere lo mejor para sus hijos.
I would certainly love to see my children like this in a few years, working, united with the family, taking care of each other and sharing, because who doesn't want the best for their children.
Sé que el trabajo que hacemos a diario como padres, es lo más importante en la formación de nuestros hijos y solo espero que lo estemos haciendo bien @rodrikun17👨👩👦👦
