For a few days now, I have been working with my dear friend and violinist Neisser Sandoval to make this short video, which is nothing more than an essential extract from the beautiful theme "Dreaming" by the popular Rafáel Miguel López, the last troubadour of the Barquisimeto yesterday. Neisser Sandoval is a migrant like many Venezuelans of my generation, "guaro rajao" as they call those who are (of birth and heart) of the twilight land. In this version of the dream waltz we wanted to express not only the nostalgia felt by the one who migrates as he has done, but also, we wanted to reflect the feeling of the one who stays in a country that is different despite being his own, and that is that This Venezuela in which I live is no longer the same, it lost its colors with each Venezuelan who migrated in search of a better to come ... this Venezuela is broken into millions of pieces, watered by the world but not diluted, because Venezuela all lives in each of those "pieces"...
Desde hace unos días, he estado trabajando con mi estimado amigo y violinista Neisser Sandoval para realizar este corto vídeo, que no es más que un extracto esencial del hermoso tema "Ensoñación" del popular Rafáel Miguel López, el último trovador del Barquisimeto de ayer. Neisser Sandoval es un migrante como muchos venezolanos de mi generación, "guaro rajao" como le llaman a los que son (de nacimiento y corazón) de la tierra crepuscular. En esta versión del vals ensoñación quisimos expresar no sólo la nostalgia que siente el que migra como él lo ha hecho, también, hemos querido reflejar el sentimiento del que se queda en un país que es distinto a pesar de ser el propio, y es que esta Venezuela en la que vivo ya no es la misma, perdió sus colores con cada venezolano que migró en busca de un mejor por venir... esta Venezuela está partida en millones de pedazos, regada por el mundo pero sin diluirse, pues Venezuela toda vive en cada uno de esos "pedazos"...
