Am here to show us how I have made a male outfit for the very first time on my own.
Been a fashion designer and apprentice who specializes in female clothes I decided to dabble a little into how the opposite sex outfit can also be design.

This was much easier than I thought starting from the measurements and cutting of the cloth.

First we make an overlap of the the back bodice on the front so as to bring the shoulder line forward.

In males outfit the shoulder line does not rest on the same position as that in females.

Next the back shoulder is used to overlap the front before I add the other measurements.
Starting from Armhhole, chest, tummy and base.

I used a neckline of 2.5 by 4inches on the two bodice placed on each other.

Next was the slit for location of the lapel.
For adult male this can be as long as from 9-11inches while in younger male children we can have it from 7-9inches as I was taught.
I made the slit here and went further to prepare a lapel and the sleeves

The final processes were the stitching and ironing of all these piece after which I passed it to my boss for assessment of progress.

I made a little mistake with the cloth bias I cut, the width was a bit too small for the neckline.
And the other mistake was at the lapel area where I used 5inches for the neckline instead of 7inches.
That made the neckline a little tight against the wideness I required for it to fit in my neck.
Though I made this using my measurement, I felt I could be able put it on at least for a photo section in it, but its so obvious that it can only fit into the neck of a 12year old boy.
