Today I bring you a personal experience lived yesterday, that despite all the anguish I felt at that moment I can say that God's timing is perfect, and that everything in our life happens to leave you a learning experience.
I would like to share with you what happened with this cake. As I described in another post, my husband and I form a team in the sale of cakes, customers are always satisfied not only with the presentation of the cakes, but also for their taste and quality.
Siempre procuramos que los clientes hagan el pago de su pedido el día de la entrega con el fin de ellos no sientan que están siendo estafados al no ver su producto realizado, aparte de eso como política de equipo siempre confirmamos los pedidos por lo menos tres días antes de entregar por si ocurre alguna eventualidad y el cliente cancela.
We always try to make our customers pay for their order the day of delivery so that they do not feel that they are being cheated by not seeing their product, besides that as a team policy we always confirm the orders at least three days before delivery in case any eventuality occurs and the customer cancels.
Así paso con este pastel confirmamos el pedido y dimos manos a la obra. Para la elaboración del pastel debido a que tenemos diferentes horarios de trabajo iniciamos a las 5 de la madrugada con la decoración y para cubrir otros pedidos, básicamente arrancamos con todos los pasos para la elaboración del pastel tomando la evidencia fotográfica correspondiente para postear en la página.

Una vez concluido el producto me puse en contacto con el cliente explicando que su pedido estaba listo y que ya podía cancelar y retirar. el cliente reviso el mensaje y acto seguido me bloqueó.

De verdad la angustia se apodero de mí; las personas que trabajamos en esta rama estamos sujetos a muchas críticas y en un principio pensé no le gusto el producto. Indague mucho buscando la forma de comunicarme y me diera una explicación, como ya tenía su nombre lo busque por las redes sociales y lo conseguí. Le escribí preguntado ¿qué pasaba? ¿Por qué? Me bloqueo y seguía sin respuesta; fue cuando escribí de otro número y por fin me dio respuesta. La torta estaba muy bella pero lamentablemente había gastado la plata para cancelarme el pedido.

I searched a lot looking for a way to communicate and give me an explanation, as I already had his name I looked for him through the social networks and I got it. I wrote to him asking what was wrong, why? He blocked me and still no answer; it was when I wrote from another number and he finally gave me an answer. The cake was very beautiful but unfortunately he had spent the money to cancel my order.
En ese momento ya no fue angustia sino ira de pensar lo mal que había actuado, hable con mi esposo y él serenamente me dijo “déjalo ir”. En ese momento mi juicio se nubló pensando en todo el trabajo que habíamos pasado, las horas de pie decorando, recortando armando todo para entregar a tiempo; finalmente decidimos poner en venta el pedido pidiendo un menor precio para no perder tanto… así pasamos la tarde esperando, respondiendo preguntas entre otras cosas.

At that moment my judgment clouded thinking about all the work we had spent, the hours of standing decorating, trimming, putting everything together to deliver on time; finally we decided to put the order on sale asking for a lower price so as not to lose so much... so we spent the afternoon waiting, answering questions among other things.
Se hicieron las 5 de la tarde y el pastel no salió debido a que estaba personalizado y fue difícil su venta, en medio de la meditación recordamos que un pastel debe transmitir siempre alegrías, momentos plenos de risas y otras cosas positivas; fue allí cuando decidimos repartir el pastel con vecinos y familiares.

Digamos que fue un momento en un principio amargo, pero poco a poco el escuchar los comentarios directos de nuestros vecinos y familiares fue cambiando el panorama llenándonos de entusiasmo y buenos pensamiento. Es verdad nuestro cliente falto, pero al final el pastel logro su cometido brindar felicidad a quienes lo comparten, realmente espero que este cliente pueda resolver sus conflictos para que no les ocasione un mal momento a otros emprendedores.
Let's say it was a bitter moment at first, but little by little hearing the direct comments of our neighbors and family members was changing the picture filling us with enthusiasm and good thoughts. It is true that our client was missing, but in the end the cake achieved its goal to bring happiness to those who share it, I really hope that this client can resolve their conflicts so that it does not cause a bad moment to other entrepreneurs.
Nota: al final de la tarde nos llegó de sorpresa a la casa, un pedido grande para el siguiente día lo cual nos hacía recuperar la parte material gastada en el pastel lo cual demuestra que Dios siempre está presente y que su tiempo muy a pesar de lo repetitivo de la frase es “perfecto”.
