1. Make a schedule:

As I said, a lot of things try to get our attention and depending on your level of schedule obsession, this suggestion could seem completely obvious to you, but you can be sure that it’s helpful.

Write down your schedule and his (or hers), if you know it. Plan out how much time you’ll need to do your work and then schedule him or her in around it. If you have a schedule written down, it’s a lot easier to stick with it. It takes a lot of commitment to go through with this just like it takes a lot of commitment to go through with our resolutions. Everything in life requires a bit of that commitment to be achieved, plus you’ll be able to make time for books and your boyfriend/girlfriend - something both your partner and your grades will appreciate.

Make a list of the things you want to do during the day and factor in your partner there. Trust me, no one is truly too busy, it is a matter of priority. You don't need to spend 5 hours together to enjoy a meaningful outing, it is never about the quantity but about the quality of time spent together.

When you are spending this quality time together, I'd suggest you don't allow your phone to become a distraction if not, you will spend more time than necessary.

Don't let your love life be a distraction. There's plenty of time to daydream after your studies. Instead, spend your workday being productive and you'll have more time quality time to spend with your beloved later. Likewise, when spending quality time with your significant other, don't let studies distract your attention. Instead, discuss topics you as a couple both enjoy. On the plus side, you'll find that occasionally disconnecting (fully) from studies will make you more productive when you return to your workstation; studies.

Thank you for your time.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
