As you can plainly see, the weather was lacking.
Since the weather was nothing to write home about, I started to clean up an old table I found.
Kind of an eagle thing...
This will just fit next to my TV chair and the wall.

Of course it has sailboats!
I must admit there is a faint resemblance!
I was given a sweet orchid!

We went out antiquing for a while and found some uranium glass.
This bowl looks to be the hottest at the moment.
I have always been amazed at how they glow when painted with a black light!
I think it is fun to collect the uranium glass or the vintage watches with the arms painted with radium.

Happy Father's Day! Looks like it was a good one! Filled with cards, gifts and antiquing! What a way to enjoy the day.
Sometimes the weather is just incidental. It doesn't really matter, as long as you have your son and daughter by your side. Nothing trumps that!
You scored on the uranium glass! The old pieces usually only had 2% uranium, but 20th-century pieces were made with up to 25% uranium. No kidding!
I like that table and it is a perfect fit. Glad your day was great!
