Resulta que la propia Sailor Moon es la Princesa Serenity del Reino de la Luna, y que ella tiene el poder de hacer que el Cristal de Plata aparezca y emita su increíble poder. Mientras tanto, Tuxedo Mask se revela como el príncipe Endymion, el primer príncipe heredero de la Tierra y el enamorado de Serenity en sus vidas anteriores. Después de derrotar a los Cuatro Reyes Celestiales (que resultan ser los leales caballeros de Endymion en el pasado) y matar a la Reina Beryl, las Sailor Senshi enfrentan a un Endymion poseído y a la líder del Dark Kingdom, Metaria. Para evitar que Metaria extienda la oscuridad por toda la Tierra, las Sailors sacrifican sus vidas. Usando el poder del Cristal de Plata, Sailor Moon destruye a Metaria y resucita a sus amigos.
