Yesterday I spent quite a bit of time working on my mini-barn to get it finally completed, rather than just functional. As I was working, I kept catching brief glimpses of an impressive skink, and although my oldest son and I tried multiple times to capture it, we never could. Eventually, though, it wound up in my hand. I'm thinking it may be a gravid female, which would be cool, because then she'd lay her eggs on our homestead, and we'd have even more lizards.
