Socrates and an astrologer.

in GEMS3 years ago

The famous Greek philosopher, Socrates, was once busy discussing some important topic with his disciples. At the same time an astrologer came roaming there. He claimed that he could tell about the person by looking at the face. He made the same claim in front of Socrates and the disciples.

Socrates was a good philosopher, but he was ugly, but people liked him a lot because of his good thoughts. The astrologer looking at the face of Socrates said, the texture of his nostrils shows that the feeling of anger is very strong in this person.

Hearing this, Socrates's disciples got angry, but Socrates stopped his disciples and gave the astrologer full opportunity to speak. The design of its chin says that it is absolutely eccentric. According to the texture of its lips and teeth, this person is always motivated to commit treason.

Hearing this, Socrates thanked him and sent him back. Seeing this, Socrates's disciples were stunned. Socrates while calming the curiosity of the disciples said that it is not right to suppress the truth.

Whatever the astrologer told, all those bad qualities are inside me. I accept them, but the astrologer has made this mistake, he did not pay any attention to my conscience. I keep all these evils under control by my discretionary power. The astrologers probably forgot to mention this.
