Korea’s largest job search platform uses blockchain to verify applicants’ credentials

ICONLOOP, the leading Korean blockchain company, and SaraminHR, the largest job search platform in Korea, announced the first full-fledged application of blockchain technology in recruitment and hiring in South Korea.

Earlier this year, the two companies signed an agreement to build and strengthen a blockchain-based, decentralized identity (DID) system and related services.

The blockchain technology that underpins these two applications ensures applicants' privacy and security while providing the benefits of transparency and credibility to companies.

"I am confident that the values of reliability, transparency and stability provided by the blockchain will have a significant impact on the employment market," said Kim Jong-Hyup of ICONLOOP.
