Esperando que este fin de semana sea hermoso para ti, aquí vengo a traerte una idea más de lo que se puede hacer con los tubos de cartón del papel higiénico. Hoy hice este portalápices.
Es muy fácil de hacer, los materiales que usé, generalmente los tenemos en nuestra casa.
Con este tipo de manualidades, le damos una nueva oportunidad a estos materiales, que muchos echan en la basura, por pensar que no tienen ya ninguna utilidad, más que para aquella para la que fueron creados. Pero nosotros (tú y yo), vamos a demostrarles que están equivocados. ¿Te atreves?

It is very easy to make, the materials I used, we usually have them in our house.
With this type of crafts, we give a new opportunity to these materials, which many people throw in the trash, thinking that they no longer have any use, other than the one for which they were created. But we (you and I) are going to prove them wrong. Do you dare?

What will we need?
2 tubes of toilet paper
Cutter
Scissors
Cardboard of different colors
Foami of different colors
Liquid silicone
Cold paints

Lo primero que haremos, será pintar los tubos de cartón, por la parte interna. Yo escogí un color azul, porque solo tengo azul y negro y me gusta más el azul.
Esperamos a que se seque.
Luego vamos a colocarle silicón líquido a cada tubo y lo forraremos con la lámina de foami, que más nos guste. Yo escogí la gris. Dejamos que se adhiera bien.
The first thing we will do is to paint the cardboard tubes on the inside. I chose a blue color, because I only have blue and black and I like blue better.
We wait for it to dry.
Then we are going to put liquid silicone on each tube and cover it with the foami sheet that we like the most. I chose the gray one. Let it adhere well.
Cuando ya esté bien adherido, vamos a cortar una tira de foami del mismo color, de aproximadamente 2,5 centímetros. Luego, un poco de silicón líquido y pegaremos ambos tubos de papel. Yo le coloqué un gancho para hasta que se secara y así, pegara bien.
Once it is well adhered, we will cut a strip of foami of the same color, of approximately 2.5 centimeters. Then, a little bit of liquid silicone and we will glue both paper tubes. I put a clothes hanger on it until it dries and sticks well.
Ahora, con una regla, cogeremos una lámina de foami y marcaremos 10 centímetros desde un extremo con una regla y 8 desde el extremo contrario (mira las imágenes de arriba). Doblaremos el foami y cortaremos con la tijera. Esto es para hacer el traje.
Una vez cortado, procedemos a pegarlo con silicón líquido (si tienes pistola de silicón, mejor). Esperamos a que seque bien y ahora cortaremos dos tiras de 1 centímetro de cartulina decorada, para hacer el ruedo de los pantalones. La pegamos. Echa un vistazo a las fotos de arriba.
Now, with a ruler, we will take a sheet of foami and mark 10 centimeters from one end with a ruler and 8 from the opposite end (see images above). Fold the foami and cut with the scissors. This is to make the costume.
Once cut, proceed to glue it with liquid silicone (if you have a silicone gun, better). We wait for it to dry well and now we will cut two 1 cm strips of decorated cardboard to make the hem of the pants. We glue it. Take a look at the pictures above.
Posteriormente, vamos a cortar pedacitos de cartulina decorada, para hacer los bolsillos delantero, traseros y laterales del traje. También corté dos tiras largas de unos 15 centímetros, que serán los tirantes. Yo estoy tratando de que se parezca a un mameluco de trabajador.
Next, we are going to cut small pieces of decorated cardboard to make the front, back and side pockets of the suit. I also cut two long strips of about 15 centimeters, which will be the straps. I am trying to make it look like a worker's overalls.
Últimos detalles:
Ya estamos casi por terminar. Vamos a pintarle todos los bordes con marcador negro, para que parezca las costuras. Luego, solo deja que tu imaginación eche a volar y coloca los detalles que te gusten. Yo le hice dos corazoncitos en foami azul, para colocarle a los lados, sobre los blosillos laterales y 4 trocitos de foami de dos colores que hicieran contraste, para que parecieran parches.
Para la base, tomé un cartón y repasé la parte de abajo (como se ve en la segunda imagen de izquierda a derecha, del collage de arriba).
Final details:
We're almost to completion. We are going to paint all the edges with black marker, to make it look like the seams. Then, just let your imagination run wild and add the details you like. I made two little hearts in blue foami, to place on the sides, on the side rolls and 4 small pieces of foami in two contrasting colors, to make them look like patches.
For the base, I took a piece of cardboard and went over the bottom (as shown in the second image from left to right, in the collage above).
