¿Qué tal? Hoy quiero unirme a la iniciativa propuesta por @lililuki y @lqch que consiste en compartir 3 escenas de películas que nos dejaron devastados. Algunas películas tienen esa habilidad de hacernos sentir tantas emociones como si fueran historias reales, así que es difícil no llorar con algunas escenas.
A veces puedo ser de llanto muy fácil cuando se trata de películas, así que no fue muy difícil hacer mi selección de escenas. Se las presento:
Hello! Today I want to join the initiative proposed by @lililuki and @lqch that consists of sharing 3 scenes from movies that left us devastated. Some movies have that ability to make us feel so many emotions as if they were real stories, so it's hard not to cry with some scenes.
Sometimes I can be a very easy crier when it comes to movies, so it wasn't too hard to make my selection of scenes. I present them to you:
La vida es bella
Debo confesar que desde que comienza esta película yo ya estoy llorando. Es una historia triste pero a la vez feliz, aunque suene extraño. La película cuenta la historia de una familia que es enviada a un campo de concentración y lo que tienen que vivir en el proceso. Lo principal es que el padre trata de que la estadía de su hijo pequeño sea lo menos traumática posible, haciéndole creer que están en un juego y, en el proceso, es una manera de salvarle la vida.
Al ser una película sobre la Segunda Guerra Mundial ya la hace triste y dolorosa, pero la escena en la que el hijo y su mamá se encuentran me deja D E V A S T A D A. Se supone que es el final de la película, que es un final feliz ya que ambos sobreviven, el niño mantiene su inocencia y puede por fin ser libre y encontrarse con su madre, pero pensar en que su papá murió para salvar al hijo, que antes hizo todo su esfuerzo para que este pudiera estar a salvo y feliz y a su vez también procuró, desde lo posible, que su esposa le recordara y sonriera alguna vez pese a lo terrible que estaban viviendo, a mí me dejó muy muy triste.
I must confess that since the beginning of this movie I am already crying. It is a sad but at the same time happy story, although it sounds strange. The movie tells the story of a family that is sent to a concentration camp and what they have to go through in the process. The main thing is that the father tries to make his young son's stay as untraumatic as possible, making him believe that they are in a game and, in the process, it is a way to save his life.
Being a World War II movie already makes it sad and painful, but the scene where the son and his mom meet leaves me D E V A S T A D E. It is supposed to be the end of the movie, which is a happy ending since both survive, the boy keeps his innocence and can finally be free and meet his mother, but to think that his father died to save his son, that he made all his effort before so that his son could be safe and happy and at the same time he also tried, as much as possible, that his wife could remember him and smile sometime despite the terrible things they were living, left me very very sad.
Coco
Dicen por ahí que si no lloraste ni una vez con Coco no tienes sentimientos. Hay muchos momentos para llorar, no lo niego, pero la escena que a mí me deja devastada es cuando Miguel le canta a Mamá Coco la canción "Recuérdame", que le compuso su papá, con la finalidad de que ella no lo olvide y que este pudiera seguir presente en el mundo de los muertos y así encontrarse luego.
Al principio parece que no funciona, pero poco a poco Mamá Coco empieza a recordar esos bonitos momentos y revivir los bonitos sentimientos hacia su padre, para luego contar su historia y así que continúe presente en el mundo de los muertos, donde al final de la película se encuentran.

There are many moments to cry, I don't deny it, but the scene that leaves me devastated is when Miguel sings to Mamá Coco the song "Recuérdame", that his father composed for her, so that she won't forget him and that he could still be present in the world of the dead and meet him later.

Si te gustan los animales, es casi imposible no llorar con esta película. Jennifer Aniston y Owen Wilson son los protagonistas de esta historia sobre una familia que adopta a un perro que en muchas ocasiones es bastante desastroso y desesperante pero que a pesar de ello permanece en la familia durante muchos años.
Marley es un miembro más del hogar y es muy querido por sus dueños y sus hijos. Con el paso de los años, Marley va envejeciendo, se enferma y casi al final de la película muere. La verdad, estas tres películas tienen sus momentos divertidos y bonitos y en general son muy buenas, sin embargo esas escenas hacen que las recuerdes principalmente como películas en las que vas a llorar sí o sí.

Truth be told, all three of these movies have their funny and cute moments and overall are very good, however those scenes make you remember them mostly as movies where you're going to cry yes or yes.
