When you have nothing great to cook, potatoes always come to the rescue. A boiled potato may taste tasteless to you (even though it is equally tasty) but when these potatoes are cooked with spices and smoked in charcoal, they become so heavenly that they are called “Nawabi Aloo”. The aroma arising out of the spices and the smoky fried potatoes, this calls for a perfect Friday night snack with drinks. Chakna ho toh aisa ho warna na ho. Spicy Chatpate Masaledaar aloo snack.

INGREDIENTS:

Boiled potatoes- 7-8
Oi for fry
Ghee for smoke - half tsp
Charcoal- for smoke
Red chilli powder - half tsp
Garam masala powder- half tsp
Roasted cumin powder- half tsp
Black pepper- half tsp
Salt as per taste
