TORTA DE MAÍZ / CORN CAKE
Hello friends, I hope you had a great day. This time I bring you a charming recipe, it is a delicious corn (jojoto) cake, it is very easy to prepare, cheap and perfect for a visit or just for a snack, so take note of the step by step so you can prepare it at home.
✍ 1 taza de maíz dulce en grano.
✍ 1 taza de azúcar.
✍ 1 taza de leche.
✍ ½ taza de aceite.
✍ 2 tazas de harina de trigo todo uso.
✍ 2 huevos.
✍ 1 cucharadita de polvo para hornear.
✍ 1 cucharadita de vainilla.
✍ ¼ cucharadita de sal.
✍ 1 cup sweet corn kernels.
✍ 1 cup of sugar.
✍ 1 cup of milk.
✍ ½ cup of oil.
✍ 2 cups of all-purpose wheat flour.
✍ 2 eggs.
✍ 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
✍ 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
✍ ¼ teaspoon of salt.
Paso a Paso / Step by Step
We start by blending the corn, milk, oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
We empty the mixture into a container and add the wheat flour, baking powder and the sifted salt. We mix until everything is well integrated.
Add the mixture to a previously greased and floured tray and bake for 40 minutes at 180 ºC or until the toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven, let cool and unmold.
Sprinkle the sugar and enjoy this delicious cake.
