Hola Hivers! como están? antes de comenzar quisiera disculparme por estar un poco ausente de la plataforma estos días debido a que mi desarrollo de contenido es el mismo día, me he permitido unos días para tomarme con calma la producción del mismo ya que quiero que se desarrolle de la mejor manera sin tanto apresuro ni tampoco tanta premura. Trataré en lo posible de esta semana ser más constante, dicho esto, quiero darte gracias a ti que estás leyendo esto, porque sin ti mi contenido no sería el mismo! Sin más dilación comencemos:

Dead poets society o en cómo se le conoce en latinoamérica La sociedad de los poetas muertos, es una película de 1989 dirigida por Peter Weir y protagonizada por Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard y Ethan Hawke, este filme está ambientado en una escuela preparatoria muy prestigiosa de Estados Unidos, en la cual en todo un año escolar un curso de alumnos se ven impulsados por su maestro de Literatura y Poesía y se animan a vivir, a amar y a perseguir sus sueños. Este film, ha sido y es (para mi) uno de los mejores films de estos tres actores nombrados anteriormente, una película que sin duda alguna te hará pensar sobre la vida, y cómo la vivimos...
Dead poets society or how it is known in Latin America The Dead Poets Society, is a 1989 film directed by Peter Weir and starring Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard and Ethan Hawke, this film is set in a very prestigious high school in the United States, in which an entire school year students are driven by their teacher of Literature and Poetry and are encouraged to live, love and pursue their dreams. This film, has been and is (for me) one of the best films of these three actors mentioned above, a film that will undoubtedly make you think about life, and how we live it...
Análisis: Carpe diem/ Analysis: Carpe Diem
Para comenzar con este análisis debemos entender primero, qué significa la frase en latín Carpe Diem, Carpe Diem significa: "Aprovecha el día" una frase que podemos ver con regularidad en muchas imágenes motivadoras, pero en sí lo que nos quiere decir es que la vida es muy corta, y no hay tiempo para desperdiciar, pero ¿Como desperdiciamos nuestro tiempo? nuestra sociedad está construida en base a estigmas, en base a reglas que debemos cumplir y una de ellas siempre ha sido, nunca perseguir tus sueños, cuando las personas no hacen lo que les apasiona, están perdiendo tiempo valioso en sus vidas, porque, estudiar y dedicarte por completo a una profesión requiere de mucho tiempo, y si tu no estás completamente enamorado de eso, y sientes que no es lo tuyo no debes dedicarte a eso. Eso es lo que plantea este maravilloso film, aprovechar nuestras vidas.
To begin with this analysis we must first understand what the Latin phrase Carpe Diem means, Carpe Diem means: "Seize the day" a phrase that we can see regularly in many motivating images, but in itself what it means is that life is very short, and there is no time to waste, but how do we waste our time? Our society is built on stigmas, on rules that we must fulfill and one of them has always been, never pursue your dreams, when people do not do what they are passionate about, they are wasting valuable time in their lives, because, studying and devoting yourself completely to a profession requires a lot of time, and if you are not completely in love with that, and you feel that it is not your thing you should not devote yourself to it. That's what this wonderful film proposes, to take advantage of our lives.
El ambiente que crea esta película es magnífico, debido a que representa una manera de pensar del siglo pasado, pero ¿a qué me refiero con esto? Tus padres toman las decisiones de tu vida, esto tiene un efecto bastante poderoso en la vida de los personajes, con esto me refiero a que sus padres tienen todo su camino hecho desde donde van a nacer hasta incluso donde podrían morir (es sarcasmo) pero, si tienen gran parte su vida planificada y esto lo podemos observar de cerca en el personaje de Neil, un chico cuya familia tiene puestas todas las esperanzas en él, toda su vida está planificada paso por paso, y Neil no tiene parte en su vida, un poco contradictorio pero es bastante común en nuestra sociedad.
The atmosphere created by this film is magnificent, because it represents a way of thinking from the last century, but what do I mean by this? **Your parents make the decisions of your life, this has a very powerful effect on the life of the characters, by this I mean that their parents have all their way from where they are going to be born to where they might even die (it's sarcasm) but, if they have a lot of their life planned and we can see this closely in the character of Neil, a boy whose family has all their hopes set on him, his whole life is planned step by step, and Neil has no part in his life, a little contradictory but it's quite common in our society
Esta película es una gran crítica a la sociedad a través de una sociedad, la escogencia de estar narrada en una época en la cual nuestros personajes estén en pleno desarrollo de sus vidas es magnífico, ¿pero ahora que plantea la película? Nos narra a traves de estos chicos tres objetivos que todos queremos lograr en la vida:
- Encontrar quienes somos
- Conseguir el amor
- Lograr nuestros sueños
This film is a great criticism of society through a society, the choice of being narrated in an era in which our characters are in the middle of their lives is magnificent, but what does the film propose now? It tells us through these kids three goals that we all want to achieve in life:
- To find out who we are
- Getting love
- Achieving our dreams
Estos tres factores se establecen en Charlie o Nuwanda, Knox, y Neil (literalmente en este orden), estos tres personajes, nos representa en la vida como seres humanos, Charlie como una persona segura de sí misma, pero que en sí , no sabe lo que quiere porque lo tiene todo; Knox como el chico enamoradizo que a pesar de lo que le cueste y como dijo él "lo haré incluso si me lleve a la muerte" lucha por obtener aunque sea una mínima chance con la mujer que le gusta, y Neil como el chico confiado pero que está harto de sus padres, que odia toda su vida y qué propósito para vivir no es aceptado por sus padres (la actuación). Lo maravilloso de esta película e que si quieres, puedes hablar o NO de Keating (Robin Williams) debido a que este aunque parece ser el protagonista, es el catalizador de todas la convicciones de todos sus alumnos, todos ellos quieren lograr ser lo que es Keating un personaje apasionado, que vive de lo que hace y sobretodo que ama lo que hace, que esto lo lleva hacia donde él quiere dirigirse y hace lo que él quiere hacer.
These three factors are established in Charlie or Nuwanda, Knox, and Neil (literally in this order), these three characters, represent us in life as human beings, Charlie as a person who is sure of himself, but in himself, does not know what he wants because he has everything; Knox as the boy in love who despite what it costs him and as he said "I'll do it even if it leads to death" fights to get even a small chance with the woman he likes, and Neil as the confident boy who is fed up with his parents, who hates all his life and whose purpose for living is not accepted by his parents (acting). The wonderful thing about this movie is that if you want, you can talk or NOT about Keating (Robin Williams) because although he seems to be the main character, he is the catalyst of all the convictions of all his students, all of them want to achieve to be what Keating is a passionate character, who lives from what he does and above all who loves what he does, that this takes him where he wants to go and does what he wants to do.
A medida que la película avanza los chicos crean la sociedad (inspirándose en una antigua versión de la sociedad que Keating había formado parte) , dando lugar a sus reuniones en una cueva, como símbolo de su búsqueda de la independencia y rebeldía que la escuela en sí representaba. Mientras más reuniones realizan más se dan cuenta de que ellos están desperdiciando su vida en especial los personajes anteriormente mencionados, estos buscan su objetivo y sin importar que se les coloque por medio ellos van a buscar de lograrlo.
As the film progresses the kids create society (inspired by an old version of the society that Keating had been part of) The school's first meeting took place in a cave, as a symbol of their quest for independence and rebellion that the school itself represented. The more meetings they have, the more they realize that they are wasting their lives, especially the characters mentioned above, who are looking for their goal and no matter what is placed between them, they will seek to achieve it.
Charlie es el primero en desarrollar su camino hacía su libertad personal, el de por sí era una persona muy vivaz pero le faltaba algo porqué vivir, y su razón en sí no es clara pero nos damos cuenta de que lo que el chico quiere es expresarse en contra de una sociedad que lo que menos quiere es que te expreses, a estos chicos los consideran personas inferiores y no les dan la oportunidad de buscar su pasión con el pretexto de que son "adolescentes" quizás, en adolescencia no sabemos en sí lo que queremos, pero sin duda alguna e una edad perfecta para descubrirnos y comenzar a pensar por nosotros mismo, buscando nuestra propia voz y manera de decir las cosas, en este sentido Charlie lo consigue, al transformarse en Nuwanda, una persona culta (por así decirse) una especie de artista contemporáneo que lo único que quiere es transmitir su mensaje con métodos poco ortodoxos pero que su único fin es despertar la conciencia a sus consumidores.
Charlie is the first one to develop his way to his personal freedom, he was a very lively person but he lacked something to live for, and his reason in itself is not clear but we realize that what the boy wants is to express himself against a society that the least wants you to express yourself, these boys are considered inferior people and are not given the opportunity to seek their passion under the pretext that they are "teenagers" perhaps, In adolescence we don't know what we want, but without a doubt it's a perfect age to discover ourselves and start thinking for ourselves, looking for our own voice and way of saying things, in this sense Charlie achieves it, by transforming himself into Nuwanda, a cultured person (so to speak) a kind of contemporary artist who only wants to transmit his message with unorthodox methods but whose only purpose is to awaken the conscience of his consumers.
Knox, es un personaje que a simple vista no tiene un propósito pero que un dia para otro al enamorarse de su amada le da vueltas a su vida, ella es un amor imposible en todos los sentidos, vive lejos, estudia lejos, y tiene novio. Pero Knox jamás de rinde, busca millones de maneras de alcanzar su objetivo, sin importarle nada, él se fuga del colegio, le recita un poema delante de desconocidos e incluso se deja golpear por el novio de la muchacha (de la cual no recuerdo el nombre). Cada avance mínimo es una victoria para él y siempre sueña con estar con ella, y completa su arco cuando sale con ella a la obra de Neil y se agarran de la mano.
Knox, is a character that at first sight has no purpose but that one day for another when falling in love with his beloved turns his life around, she is an impossible love in every sense, she lives far away, studies far away, and has a boyfriend. But Knox never gives up, he looks for millions of ways to reach his goal, no matter what, he runs away from school, recites a poem in front of strangers and even lets himself be beaten up by the girl's boyfriend (whose name I don't remember). Every tiny advance is a victory for him and he always dreams of being with her, and he completes his bow when he goes out with her to Neil's play and they hold hands.
Por último Neil, personalmente es mi personaje favorito ya que tiene un arco muy humano y realista, Neil representa los sueños de una familia él es el chico que va a sacar a su familia adelante y tiene todo para hacerlo, buenas calificaciones, buena sociabilidad y gente que lo "apoya", pero gracias a la catarsis de Keating y a sus amigos él se da cuenta que nada de lo que quiere su familia para él, él lo quiere en su vida. Una cosa que es fascinante, y es que desde la primera escena de Neil y su padre, nos damos cuenta que es un actor, en el sentido de que nunca demuestra quien verdad es. Por ejemplo cuando fuma y su papá toca la puerta e inmediatamente apaga el cigarro, cuando acepta su salida del periódico y sobretodo cuando en la conversación con su padre después de la obra no le dice lo que él realmente quiere, solo lo asume y ya. Neil no acepta, que su padre le controla la vida y se da cuenta que sin la actuación su vida no tiene sentido y se quita la vida, dejar de actuar para él representa el fin de su vida mucho más quitarsela. Creo que por esto es mi personaje favorito, no por la muerte, sino por lo real, se nos presenta la realidad de la vida en Neil y en cómo no muchos pueden lograr sus sueños, y que tampoco no muchos pueden vivir sin ellos .
Finally Neil, personally is my favorite character because he has a very human and realistic arc, Neil represents the dreams of a family he is the boy who will get his family ahead and has everything to do it, good grades, good sociability and people who "support", but thanks to the catharsis of Keating and his friends he realizes that nothing of what his family wants for him, he wants in his life. One thing that is fascinating, and that is that from the first scene of Neil and his father, we realize that he is an actor, in the sense that he never shows who he really is. For example, when he smokes and his father knocks on the door and immediately puts out his cigarette, when he accepts his exit from the newspaper and especially when in the conversation with his father after the play he doesn't tell him what he really wants, he just assumes it and that's it. Neil doesn't accept that his father controls his life and realizes that without acting his life has no meaning and he takes his own life. I think that's why he's my favorite character, not because of death, but because of the real thing, we are presented with the reality of life in Neil and how not many can achieve their dreams, and that not many can live without them either.
Está película nos trae un pensamiento de libertad distinto, una libertad que nace en uno mismo y que sin ella nos es imposible vivir, de eso se trata el Carpe Diem en mi opinión, de disfrutar la vida haciendo lo que amas sin que nadie te lo quite. No dejemos que nadie nos diga que hacer, porque no hay nada que no podamos lograr. Me despido, reiterando mis disculpas por la poca actividad esta semana, pero se vienen cosas buenas, y con un nuevo esquema de creación que sea más óptimo y que me permita traerles contenido más seguido. This film brings us a different kind of freedom, a freedom that is born in you and without which it is impossible to live. That's what Carpe Diem is about, in my opinion, enjoying life by doing what you love without anyone taking it away from you.
