Para elaborar este post tarde unos 30 días, el tiempo puede variar dependiendo que plantas querríamos reproducir, se puede llevar días o meses. Aun así ahorras mucho tiempo al reproducir árboles frutales que normalmente tardarían varios años en crecer y dar frutos.

En mi país a este arbusto se le conoce con varios nombres uno de ellos es " flor de navidad" , debe su nombre al color rojo de sus "flores" que solo toma en el mes de diciembre, las hojas de color rojo que vemos en realidad son brácteas su flor es más pequeña de color amarillo y se encuentran entre las hojas rojas.

Existen muchas formas de hacer el acodo aéreo con diferentes materiales y sustratos, aquí mostraré algunos con los cuales conseguí buenos resultados.

Sobre el sustrato existen muchas combinaciones. un buen sustrato debe mantener la humedad. yo use para este primer acodo aéreo tierra.

Debemos hacer un corte circular y remover el tallo de la planta, debemos tener en cuenta que tipo de planta estamos cortando algunas son muy delicadas.

Al terminar de cortar nos queda algo así, con un corte de 1 cm a 2 cm es suficiente.

El proceso es similar, en este caso use un sustrato de tierra y unas cuentas hojas secas, dentro de una bolsa para luego darle un corte por donde pasar la rama.

Esta es mi planta de Uvas, normalmente crece como enredadera, pero por consejo de un amigo que vive en España y sabe del tema la mantengo pequeña podándola una o 2 veces por año, ahorrando espacio y aun así consiguiendo frutos.
