The public playground or children’s park in Sharjah, UAE is still closed due to the situation, But the open park is not. A wide space for children to run around and have picnics. It has a hundred of well maintained Date trees. These trees provide shade and natural entertainment.
My children are regular here since they closed the playground.
It has a beautiful lagoon in the front and people come here for a walk.
We just pack our mat, food and flask for hot tea and we’re good to go. Simple things are really the best.

We usually stay here for 5-7 hours. When the children are tired from running around, I bring other stuff to play with, something relaxing like Playdough.
Sometimes, I ask them to lie down and watch the blue sky, oftentimes a short nap. It’s peaceful.
We play bubbles barefoot. We love to feel the ground, the soil and the grass.
When we see dried leaves still attached from the tree. We want to strengthen our muscles and glide like a monkey. It’s Merry and fun but a pain in the hand afterwards. It’s the little things that are priceless.
The weather in UAE is very good for the time being so we want to be outdoors, with safe and proper distance we can still have fun. We were supposed to go home for Christmas in the Philippines but we changed the plan and hopefully we will, very soon. But for now, we will make the most of what we have.
It’s always a beautiful moment being outdoors with your children. Enjoying the time, The scene and the bonds. Just beautiful.
