In my first post of 2021 I will show you how to recycle those soap scraps that we always have around and thus take advantage of them a little more.
Es un proceso muy sencillo y divertido, así que continúen leyendo para que vean el paso a paso.

Cuando tengan una buena cantidad de restos de jabón acumulados, unos 200 gramos al menos, pueden aplicar esta receta.
When you have a good amount of soap residue accumulated, about 200 grams at least, you can apply this recipe.
Lo primero que vamos a hacer es rallar todos esos restos, para eso los pedacitos de jabón deben estar con muy poca humedad para que no se peguen en el rallador.
The first thing we are going to do is grate all those remains, for that the pieces of soap must be with very little moisture so that they do not stick on the grater.
A continuación colocamos los jabones rallados en una olla o recipiente metálico que pondremos en baño de María.
Then we place the grated soaps in a pot or metal container that we will put in a Bain-Marie.
Cuando veamos que se van derritiendo un poco echamos cucharadas de agua mientras revolvemos hasta que la mezcla tenga un aspecto homogéneo. No debemos dejar que hierva, para eso regulamos añadiendo agua.
When we see that they are melting a little, we add tablespoons of water while we stir until the mixture has a homogeneous appearance. We must not let it boil, for that we regulate by adding water.
Luego, para enriquecer nuestro jabón reciclado, le podemos agregar glicerina, aceites esenciales, colorantes, aromas o cualquier otro ingrediente que lo nutra. Yo utilicé un poco de aceite esencial de coco que me dio mi hermana y un aceite también de coco pero en bálsamo que uso para el cabello. Además le añadí un poco de vainilla y colorantes de los que se usan para repostería.
Then, to enrich our recycled soap, we can add glycerin, essential oils, colorants, aromas or any other ingredient that nourishes it. I used a little coconut essential oil that my sister gave me and a coconut oil also but in balm that I use for hair. I also added a little vanilla and coloring of the kind used for baking.
Debo decir que no me gustó mucho cómo quedó el color jajaja, poco atractivo visualmente, pero no tenía otros colorantes…
I must say that I didn't like how the color turned out hahaha, visually unattractive, but I had no other colorants ...
Si quieren que su jabón quede unicolor guarden los restos de jabones por colores y así tendrán jabones blancos, azules, amarillos, etc., y no les quedará de una tonalidad tan extraña como el mío jejeje.
If you want your soap to be unicolor, save the remains of soaps by color and so you will have white, blue, yellow soaps, etc., and they will not have a tone as strange as mine hehehe.
Cuando ya la mezcla esté cremosa la retiramos del baño de María y rápidamente la vertemos en uno o varios moldes de plástico previamente engrasados con aceite de bebé u otro similar, esto para luego poder desmoldar fácilmente el jabón.
When the mixture is creamy, we remove it from the Bain-marie and quickly pour it into one or more plastic molds previously greased with baby oil or a similar one, so that we can then easily unmold the soap.
El vertido en el molde debe ser rápido porque la mezcla una vez retirada del calor se solidifica muy velozmente. Aplanamos la superficie con la cuchara o con los dedos y ponemos el molde en un lugar con buena ventilación para que se seque.
The pouring into the mold must be quick because the mixture once removed from the heat solidifies very quickly. We flatten the surface with the spoon or with our fingers and put the mold in a place with good ventilation to dry.
En unas 4 ó 5 horas lo podemos desmoldar, sin embargo para poderlo usar debemos dejarlo secar así al menos 3 días, para que esté más duro y no se deshaga al mojarlo. Listo, ya tenemos nuestro jabón o jabones, yo lo corté en dos partes.
In about 4 or 5 hours we can unmold it, however to be able to use it we must let it dry like that for at least 3 days, so that it is harder and does not fall apart when wet. Ready, we have our soap or soaps, I cut it into two parts.

Niceee :) Very creative, I like it. What I actually do is just sticking the little residue of the old soap to the new one :D Thus, you never accumulate anything :D
