He comentado en post anteriores que he estado muy ocupada realizando mi trabajo de grado para graduarme de psicóloga. Realmente requiere mucha dedicación, atención y esfuerzo. Al comienzo de la carrera pensaba que si eliges un tema que te gusta será fácil realizar este trabajo pero no es así. Aunque me guste mucho mi tema siento que debo invertirle demasiadas energías a mi tesis, y que también a veces necesito descansar de ella. A pesar de que me guste el tema que elegí sigue siendo un reto con dificultades.
I have commented in previous posts that I have been very busy doing my graduate work as a psychologist. It really requires a lot of dedication, attention and effort. At the beginning of my career I thought that if you choose a subject that you like it will be easy to do this work but it is not. Even though I like my subject very much, I feel that I have to invest too much energy in my thesis, and that sometimes I also need a break from it. Even though I like the topic I chose it is still a challenge with difficulties.
Creo que también este proceso está siendo un poco más agotador porque estoy haciendo este trabajo yo sola, entonces básicamente yo tengo el control de cuándo hacer cada cosa y cuándo tengo listo el resultado final, lo que requiere mucha organización de mi parte, algo un poco difícil en cuarentena, no les voy a mentir.
I think this process is also being a little more exhausting because I'm doing this work by myself, so basically I have control over when to do each thing and when I have the final result ready, which requires a lot of organization on my part, something a little difficult in quarantine, I'm not going to lie to you.
Sin embargo, hoy recibí una muy buena noticia y es que se alargará el plazo para entregar la tesis hasta el jueves de la semana que viene, lo que es un gran alivio para mi, considerando que todavía me faltaban corregir muchos apartados de mi trabajo de grado. Entonces sí, esta es la noticia que me alegró el día de hoy y es que tengo más de una semana para dar todo de mí y entregar finalmente mi tesis de la mejor manera. Esta sería la penúltima entrega, porque me harán las respectivas correcciones y luego finalmente si entregaría el trabajo final.
However, today I received some very good news and that is that the deadline for submitting the thesis will be extended until Thursday next week, which is a great relief for me, considering that I still had to correct many sections of my degree work. So yes, this is the news that made me happy today and that is that I have more than a week to give my all and finally submit my thesis in the best way. This would be the penultimate submission, because they will make the respective corrections and then finally if I would deliver the final work.
A pesar de que se extendió el plazo para entregar el documento, no quiero "relajarme" ni sentir que tengo mucho tiempo porque realmente no tengo mucho tiempo. También debo cumplir con otros compromisos académicos de mi universidad, y con mis trabajos. De todos modos, deséenme mucha suerte, la necesitaré estos días para salir victoriosa de esta semana que estaré tan ocupada.
Despite the fact that the deadline has been extended, I don't want to "relax" or feel that I have a lot of time because I really don't have much time. I also have other academic commitments at my university, and my work. Anyway, wish me a lot of luck, I will need it these days to come out victorious from this week that I will be so busy.
