#hive5 to you reading this post

Before I speak about the morning, I should move to share how my day went at work yesterday which was on Thursday.

Journey to work yesterday was really free. What I meant it that there wasn't any form of traffic as I expected. The only down side of the day was my flat battery and low power bank, so I want able to capture all the events of my day. So, I would be skip some of them.

As you all know that I work as an elevator engineer. I'm not alone, I work with my colleagues at work which very much knows more than me. My job is to assist on some stuffs, learn from them and also share the events to everyone here on hive.

The elevator we were working on, had issue. The issue was that the call buttons of the elevator was responding to the calls. So we didn't know where the fault was.

It gave us serious problem so we had to move to another site where we installed that same kind of elevator last year to check the if we missed any step. After doing that, we found that the call button board was turned upside down and knew where issue came from.

Below are pictures of us installing back the call

After fixing the call buttons, I was happy it responded to calls because it felt like a relief that we have completed 70% of the work.

Do you know some elevators can actually detect the maximum weight it is holding.

Have you ever tried entering an elevator when it has already been occupied by the maximum amount of people and the elevator begin to ring due to its maximum reached?

If yes, have you wondered how it detects the maximum weight? I pretty much know your guess would be it must have a sensor.

Anyway you are probably right because there is an overload sensor wired under the car of the elevator.

So that was next thing that has to be done after making the elevator run on normal operation and being able to answer to call buttons.

In the picture below, I hold the overload sensor then was wired and placed under the car of the elevator

That's not all, we had to look for 5 people to place in the elevator then set it from below. This process was where the stress was as a person would keep going in and out of the elevator to set the limit. This elevator though is for a max of 4 persons 320kg, given an average person can weigh 75-80kg. After finishing the setup, that was the end up the day at work and we journey home.

HAPPY FRIDAY MORNING

I woke up by 5am today then went on to check my messages on my social media accounts. I noticed I have been depriving myself of good sleep and I have been sleeping an average of 4hrs a day. I spend mostly 11am-6pm at work, usually use around 3hrs on road to arrive at my destination. So I leave home by 7am or 8am and I arrive home from work mostly between 9pm to 10pm, then i sleep around 12am to 1am and the process repeat itself.

I woke up today to electricity in the house. It was quite good but the rain came through and they took the light.

Here there was light 🤗 and the floor was dry

Then it began to drizzle 5mins after

Then they took the light seconds later.

My country is the type that if a drop of water falls from the sky, they would take off the electricity 😂😂😂. Quite funny to me though.

Anyway I didn't mind then I went in to freshen up for work today. Below are the pictures I took with my wonderful younger sister ❣️
