Boondi Ki sabzi!

Winters calls for food items that keep us warm and healthy. Boondi sabzi can be eaten year around but this gravy is suitable for winters. It prevents flu and keeps one warm. Boondi is an addition. if you don’t like boondi, you can choose to add eggs or even keep it simple without anything. Let’s see how we make it.

Ingredients

2 tomatoes,
13-15 garlic cloves,
1 big piece of garlic,
1 green chilli,
salt according to taste,
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder,
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder,
chopped coriander,
boondi

Recipe

Step 1: Peel off ginger and garlic skin. Add ginger, garlic, tomatoes and green chilli in a mixer and grind to a fine paste.

Step 2: heat 3-4 tbsp mustard oil in a pan. Add the mixture and cook well for about 5-7 minutes on low flame.

Step 3: add the spices. Let the masala cook until it leaves oil from the sides.

Step 4: add about 250 ml water. Let the water boil in the masala for about 10 minutes.

Step 5: add the chopped coriander leaves and turn off the flame.

Step 6: empty the gravy in a bowl and add boondi. Serve hot with chapati.
