Lemon Coriander Soup Recipe!

Its time for Soups again! Soup are healthy, filling and a great meal infact. We eat it in the evening and it’s a great hunger buster. People call it an appetiser; I don’t really agree to that but its fun having soups these days. In winters, it becomes an essential food item for us. You can try a lot of different soup varieties at home, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

One should not prefer the packet soups since these are not healthy to consume due to preservatives but fresh soups are amazing to have at any time. Today we will learn to make lemon coriander soup.

Ingredients

• 200 gms of fresh coriander leaves
• 2.5 cups of water
• ½ tea spoon black pepper
• ¼ tea spoon corn flour
• Salt as per taste
• 2 Lemons
• Butter

Method

Step 1: Heat butter in a pan and add the finely chopped and washed coriander leaves.

Step 2: Add black pepper and salt.

Step 3: Let it saute for about 5 minutes. Keep stirring.

Step 4: Now add the water and let it boil.Step 5: Add black pepper and salt.

Step 6: Mix corn flour with a spoon of water and add it to the soup. Let it boil for around 10 minutes.

Step 7: Now squeeze the lemons carefully after removing the seeds. Let it boil for another 2 minutes.

Step 8: Your tasty soup is ready now. Serve in Soup bowls, hot and boiling.

This is one of the easiest soups you can try at home.

I hope i will find coriander leaves in my local market, i will like to have a taste of this soup.

You can add parsley or basil too instead of Coriander @eldecor. ;)
