We are very proud plant parents of our little green friends.
Victoria says that I "steal" the plants from the streets, the truth is that I rather rescue them, I think I can have a "shelter for homeless plants" 🤣
This is just a piece of a wild succulent plant that I took from an area that was being deforested, it was huge... A big bush, I managed to cut off just the end of one of the healthiest branches I saw.
When I brought it home it had no flower buds, it was just a couple of branches with some damaged leaves. When I got home I washed it and let it dry in the shade for about 5 days so that the cut would heal, that helps the roots to grow faster when planted in a wet environment.

Victoria dice que yo "me robo" las plantas de las calles, la verdad es que más bien las rescato, creo que puedo tener un "refugio para plantas en situación de calle" 🤣
Este es solo un trozo de una suculenta silvestre que tomé de una zona que estaban deforestando, era inmensa... Un grán arbusto, logre cortar a penas el final de una de las ramas más saludables que ví.
Cuando la traje a casa no tenía brotes de flor, eran a penas un par de ramas con algunas hojas dañadas. Al llegar a casa la lavé y dejé secar a la sombra unos 5 días para que el corte sanara, eso ayuda a que broten raices más rapido cuando se planta en un entorno humedo.

We took the top off this Duff Beer can with a little sandpaper and patience to turn it into this little rescued friend's new home. All it has is water, so we keep it afloat and stable with some toothpicks that don't do any damage to the plant.
A nosotros nos gusta mucho la cerveza así que asumumos que a nuestras plantitas también...
Solo es broma.
Le quitamos la parte de arriba a esta lata de Duff Beer con una lija y un poco de paciencia para convertirla en la nueva casa de esta amiguita rescatada. Solo tiene agua, por eso la mantenemos a flote y estable con unos mondadientes que no le hacen ningún daño a la planta.
Our surprise was that after a couple of days in her new house many flower buds started to sprout and today after about 3 weeks the first one bloomed and we are delighted.
Nuestra sorpresa fué que luego de un par de días en su nueva casa empezaron a brotar muchos capullos de flor y hoy luego de unas 3 semanas floreció la primera y estamos encantados.

We are making many experiments with plants that we are going to be showing them with form they are giving result.
