La vida me apuesto desafíos muy difícil, pero poco a poco fui superandolos, con paciencia y esfuerzo. Sé qué debo ser paciente, sé qué tengo que tener fe que todo será como antes o podrá ser mejor que antes, mi vida a dado un gran cambio.
Life has given me very difficult challenges, but little by little I overcame the challenges, with patience and effort. I know that I must be patient, I know that I have to have faith that everything will be as before or may be better than before, my life has made a big change.
Hay días que ni siquiera me siento motivada por luchar por mis sueños y hay días que sí, esta situación que hemos tenido que vivir ha sido fuerte, en la cual tuvimos que aprender a cómo lidiar con el encierro y dejar tener una vida movida, por tratar de protegernos y cuidarnos. Ya ha pasado más de un año desde que llegó el COVID-19 a Venezuela, la verdad ha sido un poco difícil pasar por esto, se que no soy la primera persona, ni la última que pasa por esto, ya la mayoría de acostumbró a vivir así.
There are days that I don't even feel motivated to fight for my dreams and there are days that I do, this situation that we have had to live has been strong, in which we had to learn how to deal with the confinement and let go of having a busy life, trying to protect and take care of ourselves. It has been more than a year since COVID-19 arrived in Venezuela, the truth is that it has been a little difficult to go through this, I know that I am not the first person, nor the last one to go through this, most of us are used to live like this.
Para mí, una chica muy activa en el deporte, que asistía constantemente a diversas actividades, que entrenaba diariamente y participaba en campeonatos deportivos, que tenía planes para irme a otro estado del país a ejercer mi futura profesión, el encierro fue fatal. Estaba acostumbrada a una vida movida, entre los encuentros con mis amigos y familiares.
For me, a girl who was very active in sports, who constantly attended various activities, who trained daily and participated in sports championships, who had plans to go to another state of the country to exercise my future profession, the confinement was fatal. I was used to a busy life, between meetings with my friends and family.
Ya no puedo entrenar como lo solía hacer, no puedo salir con mis amigos o mi familia, tengo que hablar con mis amigos y mis primos a través de videollamadas o mensajes, cuando nos vemos saludamos de lejos, para evitar posibles contagios. Se que todos tenemos que hacer esto diariamente para evitar y proteger a otros.
I can no longer train like I used to, I can't go out with my friends or family, I have to talk to my friends and cousins through video calls or messages, when we see each other we say hello from afar, to avoid possible contagions. I know we all have to do this on a daily basis to avoid and protect others.
Pronto todos saldremos de esto, se qué será así, tengo la fe y la valentía de superar esto, y con dios todo es posible.
Soon we will all get out of this, I know we will, I have the faith and courage to overcome this, and with God everything is possible.
