Hola a todos. Estos días he estado con tiempo libre, aquí en Caracas-Venezuela estamos en semana de cuarentena radical. Debido a esto tengo más tiempo libre para darle rienda suelta a mi imaginación y mis manos hacen de las suyas.
Hello everyone. These days I have had free time, here in Caracas-Venezuela we are in a week of radical quarantine. Because of this I have more free time to give free rein to my imagination and my hands do theirs.
Compartiré con ustedes unos zarcillos tejidos que realice. Cada día estoy mas convencida de que lo único que nos limita es nuestra mente, al pensar tanto antes de hacer las cosas, a veces tememos tanto a fallar que ni lo intentamos. A veces hay que experimentar y lanzarnos a probar nuevas cosas de la vida, lo que somos capaces de hacer,(con responsabilidad, eso si). Existen algunos momentos que nos limitamos a crear, bien sea por bloqueos mentales, inseguridad o desconfianza en nosotros mismos, incluso he leído que hay ciertos bloqueos que nos lo imponen desde la infancia,y vamos arrastrándolos ya de adultos. Nunca es tarde para romper con esos patrones impuestos. Somos capaces de todo, si nos lo proponemos con determinación, y más aun, si amamos lo que hacemos.
I will share with you some woven earrings that I make. Every day I am more convinced that the only thing that limits us is our mind, thinking so much before doing things, sometimes we are so afraid of failing that we do not even try. Sometimes you have to experiment and start trying new things in life, what we are capable of doing, (with responsibility, that is). There are some moments that we limit ourselves to creating, either due to mental blocks, insecurity or distrust in ourselves, I have even read that there are certain blocks that are imposed on us since childhood, and we are dragging them as adults. It is never too late to break out of those imposed patterns. We are capable of everything, if we propose it with determination, and even more, if we love what we do.
Materiales para la elaboración de zarcillos tejidos artesanales:
Materials for the elaboration of handmade woven earrings:
- Aguja o ganchillo para tejer Nº 2,5.
- Aguja gruesa de coser.
- Hilo angora 50 gr. (puede ser pabilo)
- Perlitas, canutillo, al gustode cada quien.
- Pinza o alicate.
- Anzuelos(ganchos) para zarcillos.
- Knitting needle or crochet No. 2,5.
- Thick sewing needle.
- Angora thread 50 gr. (can be wick)
- Pearls, canutillo, to everyone's taste.
- Pliers or pliers.
- Hooks (hooks) for tendrils.
Paso 1:/ Step 1:
Comenzamos usando la aguja de tejer y el hilo, haciendo un anillo mágico para tejer en círculos. El anillo mágico debemos hacerlo envolviendo el hilo en el dedo indice sujetándolo con el pulgar. La aguja pasa por debajo del hilo, y seguidamente hacemos tres cadenetas hacia arriba.
We start by using the knitting needle and thread, making a magic ring to knit in circles. We must make the magic ring by wrapping the thread around the index finger, holding it with the thumb. The needle goes under the thread, and then we chain three upwards.
Paso 2:/Step 2:
Al realizar las cadenetas, empezamos a tejer en punto alto diez veces seguidas, hasta llegar al punto del inicio y unirlos con una lazada.
When making the chains, we begin to knit in high stitch ten times in a row, until we reach the starting point and join them with a loop.
Paso 3:/Step 3:
En la siguiente vuelta del zarcillo tejido, hacemos tres cadenetas hacia arriba y seguidamente hacemos en cada punto alto de la vuelta anterior, dos puntos altos para aumentar y expandir el tejido de manera que quede como una flor o un mandala, si no hacemos los dos puntos altos, el circulo tejido se ira cerrando y se convertirá en una bolita. Solo haremos esta vez dos vueltas, si deseas que sean mas grandes tus zarcillos, puedes hacer la tercera vuelta tejida sin aumentos, pero es importante que hagas las tres cadenetas antes de iniciar una nueva vuelta porque esto le da expansión. Te recomiendo que tejas en puntos altos como hemos venido haciendo.
On the next round of the woven tendril, we chain three upwards and then we make two double crochets in each high point of the previous round to increase and expand the fabric so that it looks like a flower or a mandala, if we do not do both high points, the knitted circle will close and will become a ball. We will only do two rounds this time, if you want your tendrils to be larger, you can knit the third row without increases, but it is important that you do the three chains before starting a new row because this gives it expansion. I recommend that you shingle in high points as we have been doing.
Paso 4:/Step 4:
Al concluir colocaremos un hilo en la mitad de la flor tejida para colocar una perlita(a tu gusto), con ayuda de la aguja de coser insertamos el hilo por el huequito de la perlita para que pase por el fácilmente y luego, al hilo que sobra le hacemos un nudo para que la perlita no se salga y cortamos con una tijera el hilo sobrante.
At the end we will place a thread in the middle of the woven flower to place a pearl (to your liking), with the help of the sewing needle we insert the thread through the hole of the pearl so that it passes through it easily and then, to the thread that excessively we make a knot so that the pearl does not come out and cut the excess thread with scissors.
Paso 5:/Step 5:
Para finalizar nuestros hermosos zarcillos en forma de mandala, colocaremos los anzuelos o ganchos en el punto donde hemos terminado de tener el circulo, con ayuda de la pinza abrimos el anzuelo y lo colocamos, hasta ajustarlo y cerrarlo.
To finish our beautiful mandala-shaped earrings, we will place the hooks or hooks at the point where we have finished having the circle, with the help of the clamp we open the hook and place it, until it is adjusted and closed.
Paso 6:/Step 6:

Te comento, por si te quieres acercar,estoy en una comunidad needleworkmonday en donde todos los lunes se presentan trabajos, lo cuales pueden ser, tejidos, costuras, bordados, todo lo que tenga que ver con una aguja. Si publicas allí. los lunes, vas a tener usuarios con el mismo interés, lo cual nos favorece y así nos sentimos acompañados.

Hola! que bonito que sepas hacer estas cosas, yo tuvo unos zarcillos así muy parecidos, pero los deje en Venezuela cuando me vine a Perú.
