Me animo en participar en la iniciativa de los amigos de @hispapro, respaldada por @theycallmedan para compartir un poco de la gastronomía de la época navideña que preparo en casa, la cual es similar en la mayoría de los hogares del país.
A pesar de todo lo que nos ha traído este año, esta época siempre es hermosa y emotiva, porque nos une aún más con las personas que amamos, pues nos reunimos para compartir y celebrar estas festividades.

I am encouraged to participate in the friends of @hispapro initiative, supported by @theycallmedan to share a little of the Christmas cuisine I prepare at home, which is similar in most homes in the country.
In spite of all that this year has brought us, this season is always beautiful and emotional, because it unites us even more with the people we love, as we gather to share and celebrate these holidays.

En cada país se deleitan con la gastronomía o platillos tipicos propios de estas festividades navideñas, cada familia prepara el menú fabuloso a su preferencia para celebrar con nuestros seres queridos. Lo más hermoso es que la familia comparte en unión un plato realizado con sabor a hogar.

In each country they delight with the gastronomy or typical dishes of this Christmas season, each family prepares the fabulous menu of their preference to celebrate
with our loved ones. The most beautiful thing is that the family shares together a dish made with the flavor of home.

Es interesante saber como es la comida de cada país en estas fiestas navideñas, les cuento que en mi Venezuela, es todo una sensación y exquisitez preparar el plato típico el cual es hallacas, pan de jamón, pernil, ensalada de pollo acompañado de dulces, frutas y bebidas.

La protaganista del plato son las hallacas, es todo un proceso realizarlas, lleva muchos ingredientes, por eso es bueno coloborar toda la familia en su elaboración la cual, es picar los aliños y la carne de res y de cochino, para hacer el guiso, también en preparar las hojas y amarrar con el hilo para envolverlas, amasar la harina de maiz y sancochar y cortar los vegetales como papas, zanahorias, pimentón, cebolla, huevos, pasitas, aceitunas y alcaparra. La magia de este plato es que cada quien pone un granito de arena en su preparación y eso lo hace especial, porque compartimos en familia. En esos momentos escuchamos gaitas y tomamos alguna bebida.

The protaganist of the dish are the hallacas, it is a whole process to realize them, it takes many ingredients, for that reason it is good to coloborate the whole family in his elaboration which, it is to prick the seasonings and the beef and of pig, to do the stew, also in preparing the leaves and to tie with the thread to wrap them, to knead the flour of corn and to sancochar and to cut the vegetables as potatoes, carrots, paprika, onion, eggs, raisins, olives and caper. The magic of this dish is that everyone puts a grain of sand in its preparation and that makes it special, because we share in family. In those moments we listen to bagpipes and have a drink.

En cuanto los postres preparamos la torta negra que es de chocolate y el dulce de lechosa, quesillo. En cuanto a las bebidas el popular ponche de crema, vinos y ron. Me encanta e ponche crema, este cremoso brebaje dulce se hace a base de huevos, leche condensada, leche entera y por supuesto contiene alcohol (ron).

As for the desserts, we prepare the black cake, which is made of chocolate, and the sweet milky cheese. As for the drinks the popular punch of cream, wines and rum. I love cream punch, this sweet creamy concoction is made from eggs, condensed milk, whole milk and of course contains alcohol (rum).

Deseo que cada hogar tenga un plato navideño para degustar y que cada niño en cada rincón sonría al ver un regalo debajo de su árbol de Navidad, que la situación no nos haga sentir mal, comencemos a convertir lo negativo en positivo y seguiremos adelante. Es un momento de paz, unión y buenos deseos.

I wish that every home has a Christmas dish to taste and that every child in every corner smiles at the sight of a gift under their Christmas tree, that the situation does not make us feel bad, let's start turning the negative into positive and we will move on. It is a moment of peace, union and good wishes.
