Hola de nuevo compañeros, espero que se encuentren muy bien, estuve fuera del blog unos días a causa de un resfriado común, literal estuve 3 días en cama sin ánimos de levantarme, sin apetito, con nauseas, mareos, malestar y muchos síntomas horribles, lo primero que pensé fue "llego el covid19, adiós mundo cruel" pero luego de 1 día lo descartamos completamente, por que resulta que este virus afecto a los vecinos un par de días atrás.

Hello again colleagues, I hope you are feeling very well, I was out of the blog for a few days because of a common cold, literally I was 3 days in bed with no mood to get up, no appetite, with nausea, dizziness, malaise and many horrible symptoms, the first thing I thought was "covid19 arrived, goodbye cruel world" but after 1 day we discarded it completely, because it turns out that this virus affected the neighbors a couple of days ago.

Nada que una sopa con vegetales y sopas de pollo con la receta de mama no curen, claro y también mucho reposo y antigripales, en esos 3 días en cama me di cuenta lo importante que es tener un pequeño botiquín de emergencias en casa, con pastillas que no necesiten prescripción medica,paracetamol, antigripales, antialergicos, alcohol, cosas que te ayuden a mejorar en pocos días.

Nothing that a soup with vegetables and chicken soups with the recipe of mom does not cure, of course and also a lot of rest and flu, in those 3 days in bed I realized how important it is to have a small emergency kit at home, with pills that do not need a prescription, paracetamol, anti-flu, anti-allergy, alcohol, things that help you get better in a few days.

Hoy por fin tuve ánimos de levantarme, amanecí mucho mejor y decimos ir a la farmacia a comprar estos medicamentos nuevamente, por que parece mentira pero a mi papa y a mi nos dio un poco mas fuerte este resfriado, creo que entre ambos nos tomamos gran parte de los antigripales, entonces quisimos comprar nuevamente para reponer.
Mi mami también estuvo en cama, hace 1 semana atrás, cuando me toco cuidarla pero la verdad ella es mas fuerte que nosotros, solo estuvo en cama 2 días y no fue tan tormentoso para ella como lo fue para nosotros.

Today I finally had the courage to get up, I woke up much better and we said to go to the pharmacy to buy these medicines again, because it seems to be a lie but my dad and I got a little stronger this cold, I think that between both of us we took most of the anti flu drugs, so we wanted to buy again to replenish.
My mommy was also in bed, 1 week ago, when I had to take care of her but the truth is she is stronger than us, she was only in bed for 2 days and it was not as stormy for her as it was for us.

Compramos muchas cosas, algunas pastillas para el malestar general, dolor de cabeza, fiebre, y secreción nasal, siempre es importante tener estos medicamentos en casa por que son muy útiles y eficaces, sinceramente tomarlos me alivio mucho mas rápido.

We bought many things, some pills for general malaise, headache, fever, and runny nose, it is always important to have these medicines at home because they are very useful and effective, honestly taking them gives me much faster relief.

Tampoco esta demás, comprar algo para el malestar estomacal como antidiarreicos, y antialergicos, en mi familia por herencia muchos sufren de alergia a los olores fuertes, por ejemplo a la gasolina, colonia, jabón, entre otras cosas, y este es el caso de mi papa, cuando tiene síntomas de resfriado es imposible que pueda dormir a causa de la alergia, por eso tenemos ambos medicamentos. Incluso yo tenia una fuerte alergia que este medicamento me calmo.

En cuanto a mi experiencia personal, por 2 días consecutivos no comí y tampoco ingerí algunas bebida, ya que realmente todo lo que comía me daba nauseas, no importaba que fuera, ademas tenia mareos extremos, incluso estando acostado y con los ojos cerrados, pero todo empeoro a la noche, cuando no había luz y ya había toque de queda, las pastillas no hacia efecto por que las vomitaba a los minutos.
Sinceramente yo me negaba a ir a un centro medico, en primer lugar por que he oido de muchos casos donde las personas van por alguna molestia o un caso similar al mio, e inmediatamente llaman a las autoridades estatales estas te aíslan para ver si es covid19, pero yo estaba 100% seguro que no tenia covid, por que no presentaba fiebre o dificultad para respirar o perdida del gusto, así que simplemente me negaba a que me pasara lo mismo y me atendieran de la peor manera en alguno de estos centros de salud, que me pusieran en una camilla a mi suerte y que el resfriado pasara solo.

As for my personal experience, for 2 days in a row I didn't eat and I didn't ingest some drinks either, since really everything I ate made me nauseous, it didn't matter what it was, besides I had extreme dizziness, even when I was lying down and with my eyes closed, but everything got worse at night, when there was no light and there was already a curfew, the pills didn't work because I threw them up after a few minutes.
I honestly refused to go to a medical center, first of all because I have heard of many cases where people go for some discomfort or a case similar to mine, and immediately call the state authorities who isolate you to see if it is covid19, but I was 100% sure that I did not have covid, because I didn't have a fever or difficulty breathing or loss of taste, so I simply refused to let the same thing happen to me and to be treated in the worst way in one of these health centers, to be put on a stretcher to my fate and to let the cold go away by itself.

Mi mama va a la casa de la vecina, ya que ella es farmacéutica y le pregunta si tiene algo para los vómitos, la vecina le dio una pastilla que era efectiva para mareos y vómitos, me la dieron y 1h después ya estaba mucho mejor, luego de eso pude comer un poco de sopa, tomar una pastilla antialergica y dormir tranquilo. Al dia siguiente mis papas compraron una caja de la misma pastilla.
Entonces yo me imagino que abría pasado si no tuviera estos medicamentos en casa, que son básicos y no necesitan de una orden medica? Allí es donde es importante, por que lo mas mínimo puede convertirse en algo riesgoso y es importante estar prevenidos, al igual que tener alcohol y gazas para cubrir alguna herida, siempre es mejor tener estas cosas en casa, por si en algún momento nosotros, un familiar o amigo llega a necesitarlas, siempre es mejor estar prevenidos.

My mom goes to the neighbor's house, since she is a pharmacist and asks her if she has anything for vomiting, the neighbor gave her a pill that was effective for dizziness and vomiting, they gave it to me and 1h later I was much better, after that I could eat some soup, take an anti-allergy pill and sleep peacefully. The next day my parents bought a box of the same pill.
So I imagine what would have happened if I didn't have these medicines at home, which are basic and don't need a medical order? That's where it's important, because the smallest thing can become something risky and it's important to be prepared, just like having alcohol and gauze to cover a wound, it's always better to have these things at home, in case at some point we, a family member or friend comes to need them, it's always better to be prepared.

Por eso es importante tener una reserva de medicamentos en casa, como nosotros tenemos un pequeño botiquín, y tampoco esta demás tener un tensiómetro manual o digital, esto también puede ser de gran ayuda.

That is why it is important to have a stock of medication at home, as we have a small first aid kit, and it is also important not to have a manual or digital blood pressure monitor, this can also be of great help.

Así que mi consejo, compra aunque sea poco lo que mas necesites en tu casa, si tienes niños, acetaminofen en jarabe, o jarabe para la tos, cosas que realmente sientas que vayas a necesitar, así el problema que tengas no se convierta en una emergencia luego, siempre hay que contra atacar las enfermedades y resfriados a tiempo.

So my advice, buy even if it is little what you need more at home, if you have children, acetaminophen syrup, or cough syrup, things that you really feel you will need, so the problem you have does not become an emergency then, you always have to attack the diseases and colds in time.
